This is ludicrous but with the Dem controlled NLRB this could turn into a mess.

And people wonder why companies go overseas to escape the unions, regulations and taxes. Mostly the BS from the government.

Since when does the right to collective bargaining turn into denying Boeing’s right to locate a plant at the most favorable location for profitable work?

This is the textbook definition of economic fascism.
Where a company is privately owned, and the company owns the means of production, but the government controls the company’s production. The only exception to this definition would be if the company were producing the product under government contract, and that contract were to specify where the production were to take place (for instance, the military’s contracts for producing ammunition). To the best of my knowledge, the “Dreamliner” isn’t being produced under government contracts.

People wonder why businesses locate factories in other countries - this is why. We have the government getting ready to make a determination if Boeing broke some insane labor law by building its factory where it wanted to.
I'm amazed we have lost more manufacturing jobs. Maybe we should have.

Federal attempt at establishing a precedence in denying corporations the right to relocate away from union dominated workforces.
A fish rots from the head down so this started at the White House.

From
wiki:
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is an independent agency of the United States government charged with conducting elections for labor union representation and with investigating and remedying unfair labor practices.[emphasis added] --SNIP--
In April 2009, President Obama nominated Craig Becker (Associate General Counsel of the Service Employees International Union) [SEIU]
--SNIP--
Becker's nomination appeared to fail on February 8, 2010, after Republican Senators (led by John McCain) threatened to filibuster his nomination.[6][11] President Obama said he would consider making recess appointments to the NLRB due to the Senate's failure to move on any of the three nominations.[11] True to his word, Obama on March 27, 2010 recess appointed both Becker and Pearce to the NLRB.[12]

As far as I’m concerned, Boeing may build their planes wherever they find a favorable business climate and the resources to complete the task.
Union thugs here in Washington can’t stand a little competition, can they?
