The arch-liberal Journal Sentinel editorial board says a recount is unnecessary. That’s unexpected.

I’m betting the final count will increase the lead...that is why the paper doesn’t think it is a good idea. They know what will not work this time around,

Yes, I was surprised as well, that's why I thought it was worth posting.

They know there’s no way to cheat and win down 7317 votes (they found one more for Prosser).

Between the 2 major papers in the state...the Milwaukee Urinal-Sentinal and The Wisconsin State Urinal, The Urinal-Sentinal is the “fair and balanced” paper. Neither one deserves to be call a newspaper.

I've been carefully following the Journal Sentinal coverage of this election. The JS has been surprisingly honest and fair in their coverage.

I suspect they may have have analyzed their subscriber base and come to the realization that the socialists and deadbeats in Milwaukee don't buy newspapers while the conservatives in the suburbs do.

I also suspect the JS editors understand Wisconsin is at a tipping point. They don't want to become another Illinois or California.
