Sarah Palin may be having some trouble with the voting demographic from her own home state of Alaska. According to results released Wednesday, the Dittman Research Corporation’s AlaskaPoll showed the former Governor and potential 2012 Presidential candidate rated at 61% unfavorably by a survey taken between March 3 and March 17th of approximately 400 Alaskans.

Because it may help explain her unfavorable rating in Alaska. I know why she quit; she didn’t quit on me, though, so I don’t care that she quit. A citizen of Alaska may feel differently than I do.

This thread is about her unfavorables in Alaska, right? I’m offering up one explanation for the high unfavorable number.

I have always thought that the term “useless idiots” can apply not just to people who unthinkingly allow themselves to be manipulated by communists/marxists to their ends, but also to people who buy into what the MSM wishes them to believe.

It is so easy for them. All they need is time and pliable brains of mush.

Poll the Section 8 crowd, and you'll get the answer you want.

Garbage in garbage out.

“Palin’s highest approval rating was around 86% as Governor of the state and 88% as the first nominated female candidate for the Vice Presidency” what about the dem female vp.

If the article has that wrong then it and the poll are most likely BS.

>> Actually, a sample size of 400 in a state that only has a population of (roughly) 700K is better than almost all national polls...

Does the same reasoning apply when polling 1 person in a State of 1750?

“They” had help from the Dems...

Murkowski LOST the primary... only when she had an illegal write-in campaign and the Dems wrote her in (their candidate was toast) and then some slick vote count irregularity and voila.

“We” (AK Pubs), did not vote her in...

Her high approval ratings as governor were not a result of polls from this Dimwit outfit or any ONE source.

Palin was not the first female VP on a ticket.

I hope you're right. I agree with Palin’s position on the issues but the waters have been so poisoned by hatred from the MSM and ‘Rats that a national ticket with Palin’s name at the top would probably be an electoral disaster on the order of ‘64, or worse. If (note: IF) this poll is accurate, I'm wondering if Palin would win any electoral votes. You have to win your home state to have any chance. As much as Gore and the ‘Rats like to complain about FL in 2000, the fact is that Gore couldn't carry his home state, and it cost him. McGovern lost his home state in ‘72 and 48 others as well. Mondale almost suffered the ignominy of not winning a single state in ‘84, avoiding it only by holding his home state by the thinnest of margins.

“She literally quit being their governor. Why is it BS?”

It’s not unlike a jilted lover. They’d take her back in a second, but while she is with another, they hate her.

The other is of course the “tall, dark and handsome catch”, called The Nation.

In short she has left the small town for bigger and better opportunities.

No. I would explain it using phrases like probability theory and continuous probability distribution, but I’m thinking you’re probably the kind of guy who doesn’t put much faith into this fancy math stuff, and whatnot.

“And the GOP/RINO establishment”

Exactly.

I honestly can’t think of one serious or credible GOP possible candidate I would vote for, except Palin.

So, the Establishment will have Obama, in all probability.

I won’t vote for some of these GOP candy asses.

Sarah’s hand-picked Senate candidate lost to a write-in candidate.

She is no longer popular in Alaska.

Article from Alaska? That’s Alaskan’s for Palin - not an article that would provide unbiased input.

mitt romney paid this dim marketing outfit to publish a push poll to present the current support for Palin at what they want it to be... not what is reality.
