Renew America ^ | 2/27/2011 | Charles E. Rice

The speculation about President Obama's eligibility goes on and on, with no reliable access to the truth and with no end in sight. It is time for a new approach.

Finally a Notre Dame legal scholar opines on the birther controversy. Perhaps the Ivy League could now chime in on the REPUBLICAN Congress's constitutional mandate to investigate Obama's eligibility!

As disgust with Obama’s presidency increases so will the pressure to remove the impostor. Pressure...pressure and more pressure.

Meanwhile the rest of the world continues to fall apart unnoticed with or without Obama.

This guy nailed it IMO. I’m been screaming this for 3 years.....all it takes is ONE congressperson with balls to ask for the documents. Just ONE and no one will do it.

Precisely why I consider the entire Congress (GOP included) to be accessories to treason.

Heard a discussion of the issue on a radio program a few days ago. The speaker speculated that Obama’s mentor was Penny Pritzker, who felt a person with his abilities needed to be in the powerful position he now holds. That “something” was discovered at some point in the process of moving him up the ladder and a decision was made to cover it up.

If it turns out that Obama knew he was ineligible when he campaigned and when he took the oath as President, it could be the biggest political fraud in the history of the world.

Regardless of where he was born, simply the fact that he took the oath of office is in itself the biggest political fraud. A person whose political philosophy is so different, so completely opposite the values expressed by the founders and the Constitution could not take the oath without knowingly lying.

Before the anti-blog pimping, self-appointed overlords jump in, read the article. It is completely reasonable, devoid of fanatic conspiratorialism, and clearly shows the appropriate way for this to be resolved. Whether Congress will actually do its job is another matter altogether.

“As disgust with Obama’s presidency increases so will the pressure to remove the impostor. Pressure...pressure and more pressure.”

If you look at the world of professional sports, you’ll find a very good analog. If your favorite team has a guy that’s a complete jerk, but is very good, the fans will still love him, heck they’ll adore and worship him. The more the team wins, the more the star’s faults will be overlooked.

Now, take that same star, with the same lousy personality, and let his skills decline, or the team start losing, (usually both). The fans will run the a-hole out of town on a rail.

Obama isn’t winning, isn’t performing, and has some personality issues. The public may just turn on this guy.

The American people do not know whether the current President achieved election by misrepresenting, innocently or by fraud, his eligibility for that office. I neither know nor suggest the answer to that question. But it would be a public service for the House of Representatives to employ its authority to determine those facts and to recommend any indicated changes in the law or the Constitution.

This is the obvious reasonable position all politicians should take. To say yes he is or no he isn't without having the facts to determine one way or another is stupid. The pat answer should be...I don't know because the president has refused to release the documents that would show one way or another and I think he should do so now to resolve the question for the American people.

From Wikipedia....lots of connections to Ayers, too!

Pritzker is involved in the reform of Chicago’s public education system. Currently she is chair of the Chicago Public Education Fund, the successor organization to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge

We must never forget that an element of Islam is that lying is not only permissible, but to be commended when it results in the promotion
of Islam.

Renew America is a Newt Gingrich organization. If this is his way of hinting that as POTUS he would use Congress to investigate Obama even after he leaves office, then this may be the discreet tactical way of doing it without tipping Obama. Trump is blunt but it triggers immediate reaction from Obama and his powerful protectors. Been seriously looking at Gingrich. His advantage is he left Wash DC to refresh his outlook of the US. Politician who leave Wash DC tend to find themselves not in sync with Main Street America and use that time to re establish that link and result in a more realistic and in touch leader then those who remain in Wash DC.

Maybe Tim Heulskamp, new congressman from Kansas, is the guy to do it. Before D.C. changes him.

for those who don’t feel like clicking the link, the jist of the arcticle is that the House should investigate ... excerpt below.

“An investigation into Obama’s eligibility by a committee or subcommittee of the House could have several legitimate objectives, including among others:

1. To ascertain the facts, compelling by subpoena the production of all the available records relevant to Obama’s eligibility, including the complete Hawaiian records of his birth; his passport records to ascertain whether he traveled to Pakistan in 1981 on an American or other passport; the records from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law School to determine whether Obama described himself as a foreign student; and such other records as may be relevant. The disclosure of such information to the public would be an appropriate exercise of Congress’ “informing function.”

2. The consideration of legislation to require candidates for a federal elective office to produce, at an appropriate time, evidence of their eligibility for that office. There is now no federal law or regulation that requires such disclosure.”

3. The consideration of legislation to define the constitutional term, “a natural born Citizen.”

Was surprised when I first read this article. Rice’s arguments against Roe and abortion in general brought him into prominence well over twenty years ago (and yes, he was at ND then). He’s one of the original Conservatives, great guy, nine (?) kids.

I agree completely and have thought this for a long time. Interest in this fraudster’s con job will rise in direct correlation with (1) the price of gasoline and (2) continuing unemployment.

Take the case of Jimmeh Cahtuh. He was hailed as a President who could bring the country together, a Southerner who was Civil Righteous. Then when everything went kaput even the liberals were saying “When will this little man leave?”
