(Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi have continued their "vicious attacks" and may have used cluster bombs against civilians.
Libyan government troops overnight pounded the rebel-held city of Misrata, where hundreds have died during the siege that began with pro-democracy protests.

She DOES realize that the “rebels”, hiding among the civilian population, are making it worse because they are waiting for reinforcements from Europe, right?
Without that promise of aid, they would have withered away days ago and the precious civilian population would be spared the horrors and tribulations of continued fighting.
Methinks her sympathies are misplaced. While I am no fan of Moo-mar, he has won. Nato, the Euros and the US are prolonging the misery....for oil, I am sure....
Even though I don’t like Gadhafi I hope he wins and embarrasses Obunghole and his cronies as well as the Euro-trash leaders and destroys the Islamic Brotherhood.

If the rebels are in the “right”, why can’t we just do the same here?
Having just recently watched a few seconds of footage showing a Libyan soldier having his head sawed off by his “rebel” (Al Qaida) captors it’s awfully difficult to get worked up over these “vicious” attacks. This is as genuine a civil war as one can find and the only logical reason for our interference is to back up Europe in their misguided and doomed attempt to put the eastern oil fields in “friendly” (???) hands. Leave it to Barry to once again throw in with another stupid and hopeless cause.
I remember her Husband dropping cluster bombs on innocent Serbians.
Good for the Libyan troops. I hope they crush the obama-backed Al Qaeda killers which have been recoded as “rebels.”
