Call it a lovefest between a mogul and a McCain. In an interview for The Daily Beast on Thursday, possible GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and the daughter of 2008 GOP presidential nominee John McCain expressed mutual affection for one another.

Meghan McCain, a columnist for The Daily Beast, asked the real estate mogul if she could be hired onto Trump's campaign, in case there is a campaign, to which Trump responded, "I love it!"

He proceeded to ask for advice about the critical states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina - states which will host the first nominating contests in the nation. McCain replied, "I could definitely help you."

And the McCain household has another Draft Trump supporter. McCain revealed that upon learning about the interview with Trump, Cindy McCain responded, "I think he can really do this."

“Meghan McCain, a columnist for The Daily Beast, asked the real estate mogul if she could be hired onto Trump’s campaign, in case there is a campaign, to which Trump responded, “I love it!”

Nooooo don’t do it Donald. Even you don’t have enough money to feed her. What will all the other campaign workers eat!

I hate to say it, but this doesn’t entirely surprise me.

Trump has been doing a terrific job of hammering on the birth certificate, but he’s no more conservative than she is.

And they’re both natural born publicity hounds.

If he hires on that ol'gal and the staff takes to hitting midnight restaurants, there'll be nothing but locked doors in their faces.

He'll have to fly around a spare barbeque plane fur shur.

We are watching the invocation of the "Perot Solution".

When Donald doesn't win the GOP nomination, he will certainly run as an independent.

If his numbers climb too high during the runup to the election, he will hold a press conference and accuse the administration of stalking his home and family with Special Ops Soldiers, thereby throwing his whole base into disarray, ALA Ross Perot!

Trump has a reputation for humoring a lot of girls ~ and he's been married at least 5 times that people know of.

To a guy like him Meghan is undoubtedly an all too easy contest. Still, he could probably get her to pay!

He can afford to throw a little cash at her and put her in some mundane, pointless job just to humor her.

You’ve got to consider that he’d never hire someone like her at his firm for any real serious role, so you’re probably right.

“Trump is likely humoring her.”

I tend to agree. He’s put on the spot in an interview with the daughter of a sitting Pub Senator (who, btw, all real conservatives despise).

What can he say? Notice he didn’t say ‘yes’ or ‘I’ll certainly consider it’, or something similar. Just ‘I love it’, which could mean many things, like he loves being given the chance to flip a McCain the finger when the time is right, for example.

Come on now, don't be logical and ruin the fun of the anti-Trump contingent. The next thing you'll bring up that Palin not only ran with Megan's RINO dad, but actively campaigned for him against a real conservative and helped him get elected just last November.

No, best to just let them fantasize about what they think they heard.

I will not support Sarah Palin because of her continued support of anything McCain. That will be the same with Trump and any other candidate that gets near McCain

McCain and his family are supported by George Soros. Enough said
