Two days ago, Matt Drudge linked to a new book by Jerome Corsi, unflinchingly titled Where’s the Birth Certificate? The book immediately leapt to number one on Amazon.com, where it has remained ever since. The media has shown its usual incredulity at the "indisputable" stupidity of the American people. How could so many people question President Obama’s birthplace? How could they wonder about his origins? Are they all simply racist?
The answer, of course, is that Americans are desperately seeking an answer to a simple question: why does President Obama appear to be so un-American? The term un-American here is not synonymous with anti-American (though Obama has been that on occasion); instead, it merely signifies that President Obama is unconcerned with typical American principles and traditions. He sees capitalism as selfish and evil, religion as dangerous and oppressive; he sees the Constitution as antiquated and entrepreneurialism as exploitative.
He is the representative of the Fareed Zakaria ideology at work, celebrating the post-American world.
When America elects a president like this, many Americans begin wondering how it happened. There are always two answers to such difficult questions: the first is optimistically externally-oriented, while the second is realistically reflexive.
Easy.
Black racists.
In short..he is very un American..he represents a cancer in this country.
The American people are waking up to this issue of how the democrats could run two candidates in a row who were either un-American or anti-American and who both violated the Logan Act.
Americans want this issue to be fully accounted for and resolution to be found. The Courts must address this issue, the Congress, the media, etc....

Yep. The fact of the matter is that many Americans -- even right here on FR -- love Big Government and reject the concept of getting it out of our lives.

The answer is no man is above the law. Not even the first half black White House resident.
United States citizens have to CONSTANTLY show their birth certificates, so why shouldn’t Obama show his?
No reason. Show it.
Maybe it’s just ‘rope-a-dope’ but what is he hiding???

Baloney. We are not questioning his eligibilty based on his behavior. We are questioning it because the facts have not been made available to us. It is matter of facts and not perceptions about his behavior (which is a separate issue and also troubling). Either he is eligible or he isn’t. We demand to know the truth - let the chips fall where they may. Congress doesn’t seem to even care. It infuriates me.

This is why the BC issue hurts Obama and MSM is going nuts about it. The issue nails what Americans feel about Obama. This is the squishy fat middle of the road make their mind up in the last week of a campaign. Hit Obama being not one of us, alien to our values, not raised here, not looking out for Ameica first.
Republican candidate: “I won’t bow to any foreign leader. I won’t apologize for America.”
The “Restore America” message will resonate.
America has had it with girly man Obama. They want someone with balls, perhaps even brash. Need to be immune to “go back to Bush” mode.
If Obama tumbles into the 30s approval rating, he may get primary challengers from the left. The BC issue is not only a knock out punch if it lands, it’s a slow jab to Obama’s credibility to hold office. His “cool and aloof” demeanor will be perceived as a lack of any real concern for Americans.
Obama is doing a two step with his rhetoric. He ran as the great united but no figure is more divisive. He ran as the Facebook networking small group spread out the power to the people candidate but has governed Soviet style power centralization. He ran as post racial but plays the race card whenever convenient. There’s no cohesive personality to Obama. He’s President Etch-A-Sketch, defined by whatever speech writer is at work.
Perhaps. But, just to be safe, we need to make sure this issue doesn't suck all the oxygen out of the room.
As an insurance policy, we need to win as many Senate setas as possible.
Preferably with Tea Party candidates.

This, above all, should be a question that all Americans ask. No matter which side you are on, if something is being hidden from the public, it needs to be brought out in the open. To keep hiding it, breeds concern.
It is not just the birth certificate that’s missing - transcripts, passport info, SS number issues, college papers and grades, just about any of his past history.
I couldn’t run for dog catcher in my county if my life was that unknown.
And yet the American people elected this man to lead our country?
I figured it was all over after that unthinkable act.
More like 10% black, 50% white and the rest Middle Eastern.
There are also people that are staunch democrats and will vote for any one who is a democrat. My mother is one of them. I think if hitler were running as a democrat she’d vote for him. My guess is there are plenty of people out there that do the same thing.
