WASHINGTON (AP) — A Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee sees a Libyan stalemate and wants NATO to bomb Moammar Gadhafi's inner circle and military headquarters.
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham says those closest to Gadhafi "need to wake up every day wondering, 'Will this my last?'"
Graham tells CNN's "State of the Union" that the quickest way to end the stalemate is "to cut the head of the snake off."

But Lindsey, wait a minute. I thought our mission was to enforce a no fly zone and work towards a cease fire. The mission is specifically NOT regime change.
Or is it? What exactly is the mission in Libya?
Does everyone know that the “rebels” in Libya aren’t necessarily the “good guys”? Many of them are affiliated with Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. While Gafafi has been a tyrant, do we want to see an Al Qaeda state in Libya?
Exactly what is American policy there? Can anyone explain what the goal is?
I assume it’s a “good war” because Obama is a good Democrat, and good Democrats cannot be questioned about anything they do. But I still can’t figure out exactly what we hope to achieve there.
That won’t be necessary. The rebels just won the siege of Misrata besides taking heavy casualties. Now that the Americans are sending the drones to go after the Loyalists, I think they’ll desert en masse and the Dictator’s 42 year reign is finally finished.
