The transgender victim of a brutal beat-down at a Maryland McDonald's broke her silence to call the attack a "hate crime," and says it's not the first time she's been assaulted.
Chrissy Lee Polis told the Baltimore Sun on Saturday the incident, which was captured on video and posted online, has left her "afraid to go outside."
"I want to cry, but I need to hold my head up," she said, adding that she's been beaten and sexually assaulted in the past because of her sexual identity.

Anyway, the details of the story have, of course, become indistinct in my memory, except for one. An African-American clergyman, leader of a big-city Christian church (unfortunately I can't remember where) said "... and I'll be damned if I'll let a bunch of f****ts usurp the prestige of the civil rights movement."
I'm not sure of every word in that, but I am sure of the "damned" and the "f****ts" (a word which traditionally means a small piece of kindling, but which has come to be used as a nasty word for "homosexuals"). I remember I was driving when I heard him say this, and it really took my attention off what I was doing. I was amazed, and had no idea that black people felt so strongly about homosexuality.
If the death penalty was applied to cases like violent assaults, battery, rape and other street crimes, society would re-order itself in short order.
The left has been telling us for years that McDonald's is bad for us and man are they ever right!!
So the article uses the pronoun “she” - do they mean this person’s state before, or after?

Yep. Having looked at the video, if that wasn’t attempted murder, I don’t know what is.
That was no woman. “Transgendered” just means a mutilated man (if the operations have been done).
“She has a right to be who she is”
There is no “she” in the story, and if this guy was hanging out in the women’s room I’m not surprised that the women were upset, although I don’t endorse the severe beating.

This was big news for a day or two before it was revealed the “she” used to be a “he.”
No one deserves to get beat like that, no matter how messed up they are—and I don’t think there’s evidence that the black girls even knew she/it was transgender either. (I saw the victim interviewed, and she/it is a very convincing TG) I really don’t think this was originally touted as a homosexual politics over black politics thing....The black girls were just thugs that’s all...and the black men standing back watching (and filming) the beating were as bad or worse.
I’ve followed/read about this incident the last few days (kudos to you for posting all the info before it was common knowledge).
No excuse for the assault I watched on the video. You don’t kick/punch/fight a person who is already down and not fighting back. He/she was down. Fights like this used to break out 25/30 yrs ago, when I was a kid, so this isn’t anything new. But you don’t keep fighting a person who is already down.
Well, according to interviews now out with the victim and the old lady who was also struck by the two assailants...the boyfriend of one of the two black females tried to start flirting with the transsexual but got put off because the transsexual was in a hurry to go pee.
People like these two black women and - by his post - Harley think that is disrespectful enough to be beaten and hospitalized.
I read she had surgery to make her a woman. Thus, she can use a womens’ restroom. However, they weren’t in the restroom when the fight started. Two ghetto black chicks (cos ghetto ain’t only black) assaulted another person while some looked on and even cheered and recorded it on a phone then posted it on the internet.
And the assaulted person happens to be white, and ghetto black chicks can’t have a white girl talking to a black man. Nothing would have been about that racism, but now because she/he is a transgendered person, all other issues come into play.
Fact is, a person was assaulted, hit repeatedly when they were already down, dragged through the store, one person tried to stop it.
A 14 yr old was part of the assault, pounding another human being. It’s the culture. The ghetto culture that’s becoming more prevalent and seeping into the rest of society. It’s not anything new. 50 yrs, at least, in the making.
He needs to stay out of the ladies’ room.
That would solve his problems.

I am not sending my 8 year old daughter into the ladies room with a man in there, even if it is a man who is crazy enough to surgically remove his penis.
We as a society trust that there are no men in a ladies’ restroom. I do not want that changed. At all.
