Donald Trump slammed Robert DeNiro Monday, following the Oscar-winners criticisms of him this weekend, telling Fox News that the actor is not the brightest bulb on the planet.
I like his acting, but in terms of when I watch him doing interviews and various other things, were not dealing with Albert Einstein, Trump told Fox & Friends Monday.
He can say what he wants but the fact is that this guy has not revealed his birth certificate, a lot of people agree with me.
DeNiro is among a growing number of Hollywood stars who have criticized Trump for his comments, including comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

De Niro campaigning with obama...
Give ‘em Hell, Donald!
I wish Trump would also emphasize the other records that Obama is hiding.
De Niro - that’s the leftist propagandist who played a serial killer evangelical christian, and when he killed his victims, told them “are you ready to speak in tongues”.
Leftist. Propagandist. The Enemy.
A disturbing pattern I've been seeing is that when someone speaks out against him, Trump often seems to respond with: "Look, I'm a lot smarter than you."
I consider that to be a poor strategy for just about anyone -- certainly a bad strategy for people in politics.
Robert De Niro, Mel Brooks, and Bruce Springsteen with the obamas at the Kennedy Center...
Now that’s funny, right there...
I give up. What’s that she’s wearing?
Oh please, it’s about time somebody puts these celebritards in their place.
How right he is. De Niro plays characters with smarts, but when you see him. Interviewed, you realize it was all in the writers’ dialogue. Plus all his girlfriends happen to be black so he is a part of the group who supports Obama for a dumb reason.
so refreshing, someone stating that they like an actor’s movies but that the guy is an idiot. Really makes the point that actors’ have nothing qualifying their opinions on politics as even being necessarily informed.
Royal Purple drapes from Buckingham Palace :-)))
“I consider that to be a poor strategy for just about anyone — certainly a bad strategy for people in politics.”
I agree. It is not presidential, and certainly not diplomatic to directly call someone stupid. A statesman would do it much more delicately. You know, something like saying:
When it comes to knowledge of political affairs, Robert DeNiro is a fine actor.
Bush acted like a Statesman, where did that get him?
“. . . other records Obama is hiding.”
THAT’S JUST IT!! In the past, Presidents’ university grade records, medical records, military records, and just about everything else have been public knowledge. Yet, with Obama, we “great unwashed” are told that he’s a TOTALLY HEALTHY GENIUS; and we’re to just believe it and shut up and sit down and we’re “racist” if we don’t.
With no logical basis to shut up and sit down.
Al Gore talks with actor and festival founder Robert De Niro on the opening night of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Obama may need him at some point soon.
Give Don the shotgun.....they’re less apt to get nervy, if he’s on the street howitzer.
Burn it down Trump. Hollyweird, the State Run Media, The marxists and their enablers, the NUTLESS RINOS.
Do that, and you deserve a seat on AF1.
No greater example of “Groupthink” than in Hollywood.
See? Proof that de Niro is stupid. He looks at Algore with utter admiration!
De Niro and Bill Clinton at the Grammy Awards...
“Bush acted like a Statesman, where did that get him?”
One can be a statesman, and still be wrong. Bush also opened two wars when one would have worked, and spent like a drunken sailor.
Jesse Ventura was direct, bordering on crude, where did that get him?
That’s the flip side of your point, such as it is.
Ideally, a statesman with good policy decisions would be what you wish for in a president. Is that too much to ask for?
Device to keep her from licking herself!
Wow I though Trump was going to hold fire on DeNiro. Guess not. DeNiro might be stupid but he has done great and must be worth at least 100 million. If he is stupid then he hired excellent financial advisers.
DeNiro is very rich from real estate, restaurants, and acting. He is always working as an actor.
How much does Robert De Niro make per movie?
Robert De Niro Jr is an American film and stage actor, producer, and director with a net worth of $185 million. ChaCha!

I agree, Trump could be more diplomatic, but there is also something GREAT about seeing him smackdown these Hollywood lefties ...
Perhaps a few more like this and they’ll learn to shut their mouths.
It takes all kinds, maybe we do need the “statesmen”, but we also need the Bulldogs, like Coulter and Trump.
Kind of reminds me of that creepy pic from (one of) Liza Minelli wedding - buncha freaks.
De Niro campaigning with obama and Caroline and Ted Kennedy...
You can't reason with liberals. I've tried...
I actually know people who like obama and will vote for him again. A few are in my family.
Its one of those plastic thingies you buy in pet shops....
I think its to stop dogs from licking their privates
I see a meeting of the mindless....
All these Hollyeird types knocking The Donald....this works for Trump. It helps keep him in the news and keeps the birth certificate in the news
Two wars were fine. But we morphed into a police force when we should have brought everybody home once we'd acheived victory.
But yes, he spent like a drunken sailor. A "big government" conservative.
Finally, his refusal to protect America from the messycan invasion finished him.
“...we’re told that he’s a TOTALLY HEALTHY GENIUS...”
All Progressives are brilliant geniuses.....All Progressives are brilliant geniuses, All Progressives are brilliant geniuses...............Repeat as necessary; daily, hourly and every minute, as necessary.
(Herr Goebbles would be proud.)
The reason DiNero repeats his lines a lot is because he can’t remember what comes next. It became his “style”, PLUS, when you’re Robert DiNero you can pretty much write your own lines.
Sharon Stone is another one who can’t remember lines. So she just flashes the camera while trying to think of what to say next. They all have their own little tricks. I’m only half kidding.
Hilarious slap-down of another Hollywierd idiot.
Trump is definitely worth having in the early stages of the running to show it is possible to campaign with a spine.
RINOs, take notice.
Democrats did that to Reagan and Bush...
“DeNiro is among a growing number of Hollywood stars who have criticized Trump for his comments, including comedian Jerry Seinfeld.”
Everytime one of these entertainment wh**es attacks Trump, its an endorsement in my book.
But then, AT THIS point, its OBVIOUS the liberal tact will be to DEFLECT the argument from the Obamanation’s policies towards nitpicking WHOEVER the GOP selects as a front-runner.
And the Media and Entertainment Wh**es and the “Educational” establishment will be in the forefront.
Our response should be to defend ANY GOP potential candidate, even though we have favorites.
The important thing is to flush that bastard out of the Oval Office in 2012. Everything else is secondary.
Brando had cue cards distributed all over the set when he was filming. He was terrible at learning lines.
Robert DeNiro—— yada yada yada Trump yada yada
The Donald ——— SMACK!!!
A designer burkha.
Is that Mel Brooks or Andy Stern of SEIU next to the woman?
Interesting— who doesn’t hold their hands over their hearts, too.
(is Mel Brooks still with us?)
