Just did that Saturday. Pickup at 1/4 tank, $80 to fill. 5 gallons of diesel for tractor $22.
Was using many monosyllable expletives concerning OBummer during filling.
The price of diesel actually makes me madder, I mean diesel more expensive than gasoline????????

and the Macondo induced moratoria

Oil Production in the Gulf of Mexico has been falling since the drilling has been curtailed.

Welcome to the EPA's ULSD requirements that added additional refinery processing to produce US diesel.

Remember when Olbermann used to end every broadcast with the statement: and today is XXX days since Bush's declaration of the end of hostilities in Iraq

That quietly disappeared also, even before Olbermann was canned.

True, but that is not the major cause of the increased oil prices on the global market. That is a minor blib.

Some are out of our control, yes. But the Gulf of Mexico situation only continues to have impact on oil prices because Obama has defied 2 federal court orders and continued to enforce a ban on offshore drilling as a result of the G of M oilspill. Many drilling platforms have moved from the Gulf to foreign waters as a result. Meanwhile, Obama goes to Brazil and gives them a big loan to drill for their own oil while our domestic oil industry moulders.

Look. let’s be honest!!! Most of the media is in Obama’s pocket. They will stick with him, even as he destroys the economy and the country, period. They live in a bubble of fantasy, destructive fantasy, at that!!! That’s the bad news. The good news is, a good majority of the American people now get their news and opinion content from other sources. No one with half a brain believes the mainstream media one iota. The Obama media will go down in being credible as POTUS Obama goes down to defeat next year. Fact is, POTUS Obama is directly responsible for the high gasoline prices down any avenue or venue you travel on. Destruction of the American economy and the American nation is his most ardent goal!!! End of story!!!

.....additional refinery processing.....

Must be a hell of a lot of *additional refinery processing* going on then!
If I'm remembering correctly, even before the additional processing, diesel was right up there with gasoline price wise.

No, but it continues to add to the growing problems like restricted drilling in the US, restricted pipelines from Canada, increased taxes, unstable Middle East, etc...

We've also lost around 900 US soldiers in Afghanistan since little Barry started playing President.

When was the last time you hear a bodycount on the alphabets?

If you’re Brazil, China, et al, you get to drill the **** out of the Gulf of Mexico. US drill bits must aggressively and meanly seek out fish to kill—go figure.

This clown is intentionally destroying the country.

“When was the last time you hear a bodycount on the alphabets?”

There was an article earlier this year that stated since Election Night, Nov 4, 2008, NBC Evening News has mentioned the total number of War Casualties EXACTLY TWICE, after doing it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for the preceding 6 years.

They don’t even TRY to hide the bias, anymore. They don’t even feel like they have to now.

The price of gasoline today has absolutely nothing to do with Obama’s off shore drilling ban. It takes years after an offshore drilling permit is given before it reaches the production stage.

The current price of gasoline is directly liked to the stimulus package and the quantitative easing. The US Treasury has been flooding the world with worthless dollars. It is not a lack of oil that produced this problem. It is an abundance of freshly printed US dollars.

The Nazi Germany regime, 70years ago..was more advanced in its quest for energy independence than America is today...not withstanding 30 years if the dedicated efforts of our “employees” at the bogus “Dept of Energy” in DC.

Hitler would have executed his leaders over such failure to perform.

Rising prices is due to chiefly to debt monetization caused by zero’s overspending. I do not believe that gas prices have risen against REAL money (precious metals)
Anyone have a graph of oil priced in Au or Ag?

Thank you.

People in their zeal to ding Obama toss logic out the window.

There is plenty enough to go after Obama on, but if conservatives use this the logic stick will be brought out full force against us.
