Sorry it took so long to find your post! I would maybe even take snow if it would give us a chance to have some green down here. Everything is very brown right now!

Well, ours is patchy right now. Hubby is trying his best but
we’re under water restrictions, so he can only water every
other day, and that in the evening hours. We had really bad
freezes last winter that affected our St. Augustine, too.

I have 17 different varieties of weeds, but at least for the moment they are green.. :)
Such weather.... to endure with such sunny skies.. who knew?

Hope it’s pretty there today. Would be here except for the high wind. At least the smell of smoke is gone for a while.

Yes, some of the weeds are tougher to mow which is most obnoxious... and not so fine looking..
But do have the advantage of living in the country of sorts.. lol

No, unfortunately smoking isn’t banned. But I just hope they’re giving out hefty fines for starting fires with their obnoxious habit of throwing them on the ground.
Then some dude lit fireworks on a highway and started a small fire. Luckily they caught him and put his butt in jail!

Gee Linda....... do people not have any common sense at all? I was just joking about government and smoking from the fires.. but that’s awfully scary.

Nope...some people would take their brain out and play with
it if they had one at all!
It IS scary. We are all jumpy here. When we smell smoke we
expect the worst. We aren’t allowed to grill unless it’s with propane and no trash-burning in the country. I expect
that we will have a ban on fireworks at the 4th of July.
Of course, there’ll be some fool who’ll try it. I hope they
are giving out BIG fines!
