I was referring to the actual primary debates.

Oh it was far worse than the snowballs and was all caught on film. Sean brought that up, today, or yesterday, when Paul was on with him, and Ron couldn't have cared less.

His thuggish supporters also went after Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney at CPAC this year.

Though yes, Laudanum was, strictly speaking, a medicine, it contained opium, alcohol, and some herbal stuff, it was far from the same thing as giving kids Ritilan today. There was no need to give it to babies and toddlers; the nannies and "baby farmers" knew of its soporific value and was used as "knockout drops". Several famous late 19th century demi-modain used it to pretend to commit suicide ( though some did die from taking a too high a dose ),in order to win back their keepers/lovers.

Sarah could light them up like fire crackers...

I don't like her stance on immigration, particularly the mass of illegals in our country.

And that issue is a deal-breaker with me.

Laudanum was used as a cough syrup.

I wish Rand Paul had been elected in 2006. With some national exposure and experience he might be an interesting candidate.

Aw, geez....here we go again with the Ron Paul Cult actually thinking that this loon can get the nomination

Listen, I've been watching the prostrations to Sarah Palin in the last few years -- even some comparing her to Jesus Christ -- if you want to find a real "cult".

I just find it pretty sad that you and others seem to think that continuing the same business-as-usual that got the country into this mess, is going to get us out of it "if only we get a Republican back in the White House".

What do they call doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result? Oh yeah, INSANITY!

From this morning’s Open Secrets. Check out his top individual contributors, not armchair warriors but rather real ones:

RON PAUL LAUNCHES (ANOTHER) PRESIDENTIAL BID: Center for Responsive Politics’ reporting intern Zach Newkirk passes this news about the latest GOP presidential candidate:

He’s back! On Tuesday, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) announced he is forming a presidential exploratory committee.

Paul ran for the Republican nomination during the 2008 election cycle but the GOP ultimately chose Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) as its nominee. Paul also ran in 1988 on the Libertarian Party ticket.

During the 2008 election, Paul was a significant player in the world of money-in-politics — though it did not equate to electoral success.

He raised more than $34.3 million in individual contributions and only $18,332 from political action committees, according to Center for Responsive Politics research. The top three contributors to Paul’s presidential run were individuals employed by the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. The top industries and special interest areas to contribute to Paul were retirees, computers and internet and health professionals. Paul, not-so-coincidentally, is a licensed obstetrician.

Men dominated Paul’s contributing base. The Center’s research indicates that nearly 89 percent of all Paul donors during the 2008 election cycle were male.

Paul’s largest base of support came from California, which accounted for $2.2 million in contributors, or about 16 percent. Texas, the state that he represents, came in second with nearly $1.9 million, about 13 percent of total contributions. Florida rounded out the top three with $970,000.

Paul’s financial support was most prominent in the metro areas of Los Angeles; Dallas; Austin, Texas; and Washington, D.C. Together, these four metro areas accounted for more than $1.6 million in contributions to Paul.

LOL - why, yes, that's what everybody who doesn't worship Ron Paul wants.

I got it - you either worship Ron Paul or you want status quo and will vote for anyone on the Republican ticket.

ROFL!

By the way, I'm not a Palin-worshipper, either. In fact, I think worshiping any politician is just weird. They're all flawed human beings just like we are. Yes, even your adored Ron Paul.

I tend to support the one who comes closest to my own ideology.

In this case, it would be a conservative like DeMint, Ryan or Bachmann, maybe Cain. I'm still assessing.

Ron Paul is too leftist for me.

Sorry, Paulists comprise the only political cult I know.

Supporting someone who can't crack 1% in any primary or general election is akin to cult worship.

Supporting someone who is as naive about Islamic intent as RP is cult like.

Supporting a loon who blames the US for 9/11 is cult like.

Supporting a candidate who supports the wtc mosque is cult like.

And yes there's a lot more......

When and if you ever decide to return to reality, you might want to read this: Rasmussen Poll: Election 2012: Barack Obama 42%, Ron Paul 41%

Until then, keep kissing Sarah's feet, begging her to run.

LOL.

Your stoopid poll shows Bambi's weakness and nothing else. Any one who says polls matter at this point are just silly anyway. It's the actual votes that count, and Paul will never crack 1% after campaigning, he never has and never will.

My dog (I don't even own one) would show well against him right now.

Sorry, your candidate is a total loser. He has one issue that he's credible on, other than that he's the GOP version of Dennis Kucinich, the closest in approximation to the nutcase the kook democrats favor.

I conducted a poll over the last week with my doorknob as a candidate.

The doorknob beat Bambi and Ron Paul.

Any minute now, the Paulinistas are going to start calling us "neocons." ;-)

Oh you're very welcome!

That quote has been posted so often, on FR, that after more than a decade of seeing it on threads, it has been seared into my brain. LOL

Perhaps, once you leave the land of delusion, you'll finally see that Ron Paul running for president, is beyond ridiculous! I'd have a better chance of getting more than 1% of the vote, than he does,in the primaries.

Your little idol, with "feet of clay" up to his receding hairline, is lucky to have the elected office he does.

Manchester, NH. The pundits were watching the debate from a nearby bar, doing, I think, the post-debate analysis. It was the Sunday before the NH primary.

Ron Paul is much better known now than he was 4 years ago.

Even 4 years ago, Ron Paul did much better than even 10% in some, but not all, states.

And now the tea party sounds like Ron Paul.

I’m not saying Ron Paul is the most likely to win, but 1% is way way off.

Please try to bring your memories of how well Ron Paul did in 2008 in line with what really happened.

Here are some results from the primaries / caucuses in 2008 - the better results for Ron Paul

Iowa - 10%
NH - 8%
Nevada - 14%
Maine - 18%
Alaska - 17%
Minnesota - 16%
Montana - 25%
North Dakota - 21%

Nope, Sean had been at the debates, security told him to wait, but he wanted to leave, so he did, which is when the thuggish Paulbots attacked him. He hit Ron Paul with it, along with the video, when Paul was on his T.V. show and Paul just shrugged it off,as though it was no big deal.

The recorded and reported results/final tally is that Paul got an aggregate of 1%, last time around.

He was all over, the last time, people knew who he was, and now, he isn't supported by the Tea Partiers, who view most of his positions as specious, at best.

Ron Paul is the Dennis Kucinich of the GOP and a RINO, since he is really a Libertarian, who figured out that he could never win as one and now takes money from the GOP and flies inder their banner, falsely.
