How could that be legal?
We were told for years that such a scenario would be illegal.
And that's what is remarkable about the just released long form ... it is unremarkable. Seriously, what was all the secrecy about. Every man Jack in America has had to show their birth certificate on a number of occasions, certainly when filling out the I-9 to get a job. And there was Obama, protecting his certificate like it was the crown jewels or something. You just have to ask why.
More appropriately, ask why the MSM wasn't asking why.
Exactly. But it is all now distilled into the issue of his birth certificate. Maybe Trump will start to harp on those other issues but the main thrust will be discredited, and, it will look increasingly desperate to attack along these lines. It doesn’t matter if he never completed a thesis or if is SAT score sucked or what he wrote in college...he is The President.
I feel the same way about Obama that Mary McCarthy did about Lillian Hellman when she said that “Everything she writes is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the.”
That is really rich. An all time classic. Obama thought it was bad for the country? After almost three years he decides that? And Obama is totally responsible for all of this.
That Obama would say such a self-serving, hypocritical, cynical thing, and that any 'journalist' would report on it as if it were anything but the most self-serving, disingenuous nonsense to ever come out of a president's mouth illustrates what pathetic low lifes we have in the WH and reporting on the WH.
Correction: Obama thought it was bad for Obama.
If Trump has something which contradicts what Obama came out with, holy shmoley!
Hats off to Trump for making Obama take out his “silver bullet” - the means which he had hoped to tar his Republican rival as a racist and thereby win 2012 election.
The MSM is to 0bama what the Broom-n-Scoop Detail is to a circus parade.
“Corley flew to Honolulu, returning the documents to the White House on Tuesday night.”
So let me get this straight . . . the were actually in custody of the actual documents??? None of this sending a certified copy overnight or personally picking up a certified copy or physically inspecting at the Dept’s offices?
Actual physical control of the documents . . . so this is what the “Waivers” were for? Interesting. And why not just a certified copy like the rest of us can get in a few days for a question that’s been brewing for years?
The document is an Abstract computer generated. That is not a copy of the long form.
Why did he spend over 1 million dollars fighting the release of the original long form? Why did he let Lt. Colonel Lakin go to jail instead of releasing the long form. What was released today is not a copy of the original.
To release this abstract just causes more questions to be asked. I think the wheels are about to come off the train.
Joe Biden will be easy to beat in the next election.
I'm waiting for the "How the He!! did this idiot get admitted to Columbia and Harvard Law School with a SAT score of 932?" presser.
Little Berry won’t get much sympathy from the average American who has to produce birth certificates to sign their children up for baseball. He looked like an arrogant creep who thought the rules don’t apply to him because he’s special.
Wouldn't the smartest pResident in the worldTM know that it would have cost a lot less than $2 million to do this 2 years ago?
May I suggest that it no longer matters if he has produced a Certificate of Live Birth and called it a long form Birth Certificate?
The controversy is an avatar for the need people feel to get this thug out of the oval office. It won’t make one bit of difference.
Corley flew to Honolulu, returning the documents to the White House on Tuesday night.
So, let me get this straight. We flew some idiot to Hawaii to get the BC? Why wouldn’t we just use FedEx and save some money?
Pfieffer doing stand-up comedy now?
Sorry, I don’t buy the story, not one word of it.
This is all ‘show time’ for both Barack and Georgie.
This is asinine. Wouldn't FedX overnight have accomplished the same thing, and only cost about nine bucks? How much did Corley's juvenile junket cost we the taxpayers?
