Lesbian ex-cadet giving up West Point fight

ALBANY, N.Y. – A lesbian former cadet who left West Point saying she couldn't live a lie was rejected for re-admission Wednesday because of the lingering military ban on gays and said she is giving up on her dream of graduating from the academy.

Katherine Miller said in a statement that she plans to graduate from Yale University, which she's now attending, and join the military through officer candidate school. "Although I am deeply saddened that I will not be readmitted to West Point, I understand and respect the decision," said the 21-year-old from Findlay, Ohio.

She said that although she had always wanted to serve alongside her comrades as an equal, "I harbor no resentment toward the military, and I look forward to the day they deem it appropriate for me to put the uniform back on."

Miller left West Point last year and soon became a public face of the effort to repeal the policy known as "don't ask, don't tell," or DADT, which bars gays and lesbians from serving openly. But she missed the storied upstate New York academy and applied as the government moved to repeal. In announcing Miller's rejection, West Point issued a statement explaining that it couldn't accept Miller because of the still-existing ban but hinting that re-entry wouldn't be a problem for her in the future

Forget the lesbian issue, some in the military take issue to women in general. My next-door neighbor and adopted grandfather was a Westpoint graduate. He refused to return to Westpoint to deliver a speech for his 50th class reunion because they by then had started admitting women to officer training. He was the highest decorated officer in his class, retiring a Brig. Gen. He received a not so polite call from the Pentagon basically demanding that he attend - and so he did, but his view on the place of women in the military was clear. The man quit Rotary International over the same issue; dug up the cast iron spoke wheel from his lawn.

If she really wants to come back, let her come in with the new plebe class this summer, Class of 2015. I didn’t think The Academy was a place where you could just take a year off, other than for physical incapacity.

Its unfortunate she came to this conclusion AFTER she had been accepted at Westpoint. She essentially prevented another nominee from attending.

The Shame is too many in America find it convenient to accept the LIE .The best Science has NEVER proven the Bible wrong—nor has it ever proven anybody was ever born homosexual-the orientation remains a choice of how one desires to view sex.
Thus the LIE is this peon calls herself a proud lesbian wanting only to be all she can be as an Officer promoting her perversion within the ranks.she is already LIVING a LIE and is too dumb to admit it.

Sadly hilarious. Every DAY this woman lives is a lie. Homosexuality itself is a lie about what humans are and how they are made.
