The guy that Obama put at the head of the EPA is having his lawyers block drilling at every step. The guy is a communist. The EPA should not exist simply because government institutions with the power of the EPA will inevitably be corrupted and used for evil. That’s what we have today.

That’s the whole motivation behind limited government. It will be corrupted and used for the evil purposes of evil men. Best to keep it as small and impotent as possible. Non-existent is best.

We should be drilling in every State and off shore. And, we should be using our VAST supplies of natural gas to run autos, as well. Any of the other “green” garbage isn’t pratical or scalable, imo. Watch gas go to $6 per/gallon and then at election time Obama will magically bring gas down to $4.50 and the libs will think he’s King again.

The National Center For Policy Analysis is a great conservative organization. I wouldn’t be too quick to dismiss or belittle any of their findings. Here...go take a look...they are on par with Heritage imho.

I would rather see the “loans” to US contractors be used to develop a US market where they can work/sell (we used to have one, called the Gulf of Mexico) than a market in Brazil where in the end, we send them dollars for their oil just like Saudi, etc. Keep the dollars here first. If you have them to loan, invest them at home.

We work all over the world. we get the business where it is.

To do as you suggest is business folly. We are a global economy. Think beyond your county line

Yes. we work all over the World. To do as I suggest is not folly, other countries do it.
Why do you have a problem looking after our own first.
You need to read the article.
It is about shutting down the Gulf of Mexico while developing
other’s markets. I and others have a problem with that.
We will solve it by firing BO.
Here is my vote, invest in the US first.

What is your problem with investing in the GOM first
before Brazil?

I know that. It is just frustrating as hell when an organization like that has to take all kinds of time to figure it out.
Killing off future exploration leads to higher prices.
I did that for free and within a couple of hours after the marxist goof and his fellow goof salazar put on the moratorium.

Administration Blocking 103 Gulf Drilling Permits

As oil prices continue to climb, a backlog of more than 100 offshore drilling plans for the Gulf of Mexico are awaiting approval from the Obama administration, according to federal data.

The federal government has not approved a single new exploratory drilling plan in the Gulf of Mexico since lifting its deepwater drilling moratorium on Oct. 12. There are currently 103 plans awaiting review by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement.

The information reveals that the Obama administration — not the oil industry — is the culprit for the slowdown of drilling activity in the Gulf. The Gulf of Mexico accounts for more than 25 percent of domestic oil production.

“These new findings prove that BOEMRE cannot claim it isn’t receiving job-creating plans from oil exploration and production companies,” said Gregory Rusovich, chairman of the Business Council of Greater New Orleans and the River Region. “The plans are there. Until BOEMRE reviews the 103 plans awaiting approval, our economy’s stability remains in jeopardy.”

Either or should not be the option. Both should be the option.

The Export Import bank guarantees bank loans to American companies for export work.

The Gulf is not export work and plenty of money is available for companies, sound capitalist companies, for domestic work.

This is no big deal or cause for wadded panties. It is business as usual.

The problem is the Obama regime. They cannot go against their envirowacko base. They must retard work in the gulf and stop it elsewhere.
