Pretty amazing stuff.

Obama appears on Oprah Winfrey and says yesterday was "a fun day." Meanwhile, hundreds of people are dead here.

What do you suppose the MSM would have said ... if George W. Bush had called it “a fun day” when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans? And then flown to NYC to appear on Hannity.

No he isn’t. That is what his handlers WANT us to think.

Obama is every bit as flippant as Marie Antoinette was. Obama is a “let them eat cake” kind of thug.

Just heard something interesting - Gov. Perry of Texas requested aid from the President two weeks back... and has yet to hear back.

Yet O-bummer made plans to travel to Alabama even before authorities started discussing asking for aid...

"Today was a fun day," Obama said at his first fundraising event at Corzine's apartment. "Nobody checked my ID at the door. But it was also a serious day because part of what happened this morning was me trying to remind the press and trying to remind both parties that what we do in politics is not a reality show. It's serious."

EXACTLY... they crucified Bush. This is horrendous, not once has the BO made a comment or even visited the areas. I believe he thinks it’s a great day because of all the jobs that will be created that he can then take credit for.

Muslims always celebrate when Christians are killed. O'Bambi does consider it a "fun" day when people in the South (the most Conservative and Christian region of America) face disaster.

Marie, of course, was ignorant of the act that not everybody had cake around all the time like she did. In fact, she probably wasn't really up on the idea of bread and cake being made out of the same basic substances.

Obama obviously has some serious short term memory problems ~ and is woefully ignorant of most everything.

The article is linked above. The quote from the dinner is in there.

Obama was doing Oprah and fundraising in NYC while the tornados were killing people here. In fact, he kept doing it and was even cracking jokes about it throughout the evening.

The MSM spent all day yesterday talking about the birth certificate.

Bush was smeared every single day after Katrina but Obama gets a free pass when hundreds are dead. Absolutely disgusting but not surprising, Obama doesn’t give a damn about the South since the South goes GOP

I mean ... didn’t he know there was a huge tragedy unfolding here?

Well, I'd expect that after the disasterous "Brownie's doing an excellent job for FEMA" comment from W, you'd expect that the world's most-ever intelligent man would hire a superior FEMA manager who'd keep his ass informed, wouldn't you?

I mean, he thinks and operates on so many integrable levels, juggling hard hitting goals with present reality, instantly modifying and weighing the best options to produce the outcome closest to his original goals, doesn't he? I've heard that from so many liberal sychophants, even.

I guess Mr/Ms/whatever FEMA manager couldn't get a word in during golf, date night, campaigning, OPRAH!, vacations, etc................

"Today was a fun day," Obama said at his first fund-raising event at ex-NJ Gov Corzine's apartment.

Aha---so Ohaha's getting some of the $17.5 Billion stimulus he sent to NJ for Corzine's relection......... that simply disappeared.

Here's how the Corzine reelection went down.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR NJ's CORZINE TO WIN Obama put the power of the WH machine behind the incumbent Dem even though Corzine helped Hillary win the NJ primary.

The NY Times reported :
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was being screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team, and,
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions,

Vote-starved Democrats rigged the NJ election with latino votes (so they thought)

(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with NJ Latinos (kept secret from voters),
(f) Corzine had a "Peruvian Pac" endorsing him.
(g) Ohaha campaigned in NJ three times, Biden was there twice. Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly.
(h) Corzine promised to give illegals ‘driving credentials’ & in-state tuition.
(i) Corzine sucked up to illegal immigrants and REFUSED to enforce current immigration laws
(j) Corzine formed a Blue Ribbon committee of hypenates using tax dollars to mine votes for Corzine.
(k) Also sucking up to illegals was Sen Robert Menendez, a major Corzine fellater.

OTHER SALIENT POINTS

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner Chris Chirstie about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign. One statewide paper reported they could not find any sign of the $17.5 Billion stimulus after it hit NJ.

After all of this---Corzine lost handily.

Obama doesn’t give a damn about the South since the South goes GOP.

That's a correct assessment. Here's O'Bambi's core constituency:

Not to defend the guy but folks who've lived in theMidwest long enough(Chicago is in the Midwest) have a tendency to not worry about tornados until they get very close to them.

At the same time a mile wide tornado is unusual. I was about 8 years old and my mother was bringing me and my brother back from the neighbors to play. All at once a mile wide tornado popped up just West of us.

The next 5 or 6 houses we passed was one of my longer trips in my life. We were running and the storm was bearing down and looming ever higher and larger. You could see stuff like whole trees, roofs, trucks, buses, cars and things that used to be things swirling around.

We made it to shelter. The storm hit the street a couple of blocks to our West and then bounced. It went over and came down in what was then a forest. Then bounded out of there and just kind of hopped all the way out of Marion County, Indiana into the oblivion it so richly deserved.

That storm made the news as "12 Block Wide Tornado Hits Indianapolis".

These very large storms are more like what you get with sheering winds than the higher speed smaller funnels. Still, there at the center, you don't want to ever be there. You want to see it go away and leave you alone.

I just watched half a dozen of the Tuscaloosa videos and that's the storm I saw ~ just like that ~ but it never quite turned into a wedge ~ just huge, black, wide, and full of things.

There's no where to run and no way to hide from the mile wide storm.

GWB had assets ready to go to Louisiana, and only needed the go ahead from the then governor Blank-O. Fedgov can not just send in aid, it has to be with the permission/request of the state government. So Blank-O plays politics with the lives of the people in Louisiana, does not want to be seen taking aid from the Eeeviiilll Bush, and yet blames the Eeeeeviiiilll Bush for not doing anything. The good people of Louisiana wised up to that game.
Now Obama plays politics with the lives people that are not on his side.
I am currently reading Robert Conquest’s book on the Great Terror. This is to a different degree, but still the same old song and dance.
