'Change' via executive power grab
NY Post ^ | April 29, 2011 | Michael A. Walsh

Posted on 04/29/2011 3:35:35 AM PDT by lowbridge

Having lost the House of Representa tives in the last election, the Obama administration is now imposing "fun damental change" via executive order, regulatory fiat and political pressure. Talk about the unitary executive:

* The Environmental Protection Agency has ruled that Shell Oil Co. may not drill for oil this summer in the Arctic Circle off Alaska, where an estimated 27 billion barrels of domestic oil are waiting to be extracted.

Aaargh! Some times I'd like to pummel some of those people about the head, neck and shoulders for their blatant stupidity.
Not the best news to wake up to.

So a federal agency...
So a bunch of bureaucrats...

And, scoff as you will (I've got flame proof Skivvies), that peril is Bureaucracy, for that, in fact, is what America has become...a Bureaucracy. A body of nonelective government officials, administrative policy-making groups, and government by specialization of functions, adherence to fixed rules, and a hierarchy of authority.

That’s what the next presidential race is really all about
..........................................................
Perhaps that is what the next Presidentialrace is all about, but it should not be.
The usurper is usurping dictatorial power that is not his, and the Congress and Supreme Court are allowing him to do it.

There should be a Parade of Congress Critters and Judges marching down Pennsylvania Ave.to the White House to tell this idiot what his Constitutional duties are, since he obviously doesn’t know, or ignores it.

Republicans are today’s eunuchs and Democrats are the Field slaves on this clown’s plantation.

Would be nice IMO to see a parade of about 3 million, or more pissed off Americans marching down Pennsylvania Ave. to the White House with signs, placards, pitchforks, and buckets of tar.

We certainly have a sufficient amount of unemployed with the time for it right now.

The first act of the next President is to rescind every executive order since Jan 21, 2009, before making her inaugural address.

Not to worry. Russia has no such prohibitions against drilling. They will extract those 27 billion barrels of oil instead. This isn't about the environment. This is about knocking rungs out of the ladder of American success so that we will be on the same level with the world average.

It all boils down to this: Are we to be a constitutional government with three distinct branches, or a single executive entity that makes policy, carries it out and decides for itself whether it's constitutional or not?

That's what the next presidential race is really all about.

Or.. it may be about... How much ammo do you have!

We all know a Tyrant cannot be removed by the ballot box. He'll just *declare* any unfavorable election as 'illegitimate' and tell everyone who doesn't like it to go p_$$ up a rope.

It's worked for Mugabe and Hugo thus far.

I had a young smart ass Brit over this evening.
He was babbling on and on about US politics and Sarah.
Just to show how stupid most people are, he went into
the stock jabs...”Oh, she can see Russia from Alaska, hahahaha”.
I asked him how far Russia was from Alaska. He replied, “Oh I don’t know for sure..I guess 400 miles, or so.
I had to inform him that it was only about 2 miles.
Then he went into blasting her campaign poster with the bull’s eye being responsible for the Tuscon shooting .

Well, I guess we can not fix stupid, as he gets all of this crap from the comedy shows and US media blurbs.

So how do think the secret service, the fat HUD mommas and the bug counters at Interior Department will fare against the 2nd Marine Division moving up I-95?

*** o how do think the secret service, the fat HUD mommas and the bug counters at Interior Department will fare against the 2nd Marine Division moving up I-95? ***

Interesting thought experiment.(not quite Schrödinger's cat territory but good none the less).

The Secret Service Protection Detail's job and only job is; 'To Protect The President'. So what do they do? Follow their Brothers In Arms at Treasury if they act to remove an usurper, or stay with the POTUS and 'protect him'?

Ditto for all the Fed Leos -- From FBI to US Marshals. Do they act or 'stay loyal' to their boss, no matter if he's there legally, or not.

As to the Marines or any Military unit moving up to 'remove him'. How does that Enlistment Oath go again? Oh yeahhhh.

"I, XXXXXXXXXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

The Officer's Oath is a tad different but the bottom line the POTUS is their Commander In Chief and we also know many Officers are Obamabots. So any order he gives them, they will follow.

I'm aware of the Oath Keepers but they're outnumbered. Ergo I *think* it'll take 'The Militia' (aka: US Citizens) to do most of the heavy lifting 'at first'.

And I discount any Court, even SCOTS as Barry and his minions have already thumbed their collective nose at 'The Courts' (Gulf Drilling)

We are putting all our hope into the next election. But by that time Obama will have executive orders in place that will have given citizenship and the vote to several million more followers seeking a handout, he will have corrupted the voting system to an extent that it will impossible to even fairly count the votes. We have seen “fundamental change” this past 2 years of a magnitude which we could not have imagined could ever happen in this great country of ours. What he will do in the next two years will make this seem pale.

And if the Commandant of the Marines approves those movements, Obama would replace him with someone who would not. Then, the 2nd Marine Division would have a huge decision to make.

Or do I misunderstand how military things happen? I’m willing to be corrected.

“Interesting thought experiment.(not quite Schrödinger’s cat territory but good “Interesting thought experiment.(not quite Schrödinger’s cat territory but good none the less).”

Indeed it is.

Here’s obuma’s political officer addressing the troops: “Good morning, Marines. Today we begin an operation to kill your mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers and friends and neighbors for the glory of president obama. I know you may have mixed feelings about...”

Bang! Traitors, including officers, bleed and die like anyone else.

The last survey of the officer corps showed that 90% of them identify themselves as either conservatives or republicans. The political ass-kissing corps is seriously outnumbered. Flag staff officers supporting obuma are an exception, not a rule.

The best king obuma could hope for would be a military that splits along political lines, similar to what happened in 1861. Even with that, the obuma supporters would be seriously outnumbered in both personnel and equipment.

Obuma would also lose control of the states’ guard, not to mention the 26 states that pay for an organized militia in their territories.

And, unfortunately, the "Republican" controlled House we worked so hard to get elected is led by weak, effete, elite, pansies who capitulate to the destroyers every time.

Obuma gave an order? What order? We never received any orders. New commandant? What new commandant? You talking about Gen. Kiss Ass? We got a call that he got lost in a swamp and was bit by a copperhead. He died unfortunately.
