IMO, the Courts will need a serious scrubbing with industrial level cleaners before we can attempt to rebuild. This is something that I don’t have the foggiest idea idea of how to approach. Without a fair and balanced legal system we can never obtain the freedoms and securities we dream for.

I know what you mean. The Courts are part of the problem too. Sometimes I wonder if we would be better off with a "draft" where regular people like you and me are randomly selected to do "judge duty" for a day or two each week for a year or two. Then again, with our education system as what it is, it might not make a difference in today's world.
One thing I am afraid of is that this is a huge roll of the dice where the lines are blurred, with the possible exception of rural/suburban vs. urban. I can see all points here, even the naysayers and yes, their views are valid too. The sad thing is that I do see some sort of thing erupting, it is like a college professor of mine (actually he seemed a bit libertarian) saw it like "a car going downhill with no brakes and there is a telephone pole at the end of the hill."
I leave it at this: I'll be 45 in July. I have to worry about my mother and 4 cats and would defend them if I had to. I also pray to God that if anything happens, He gives me the wisdom to protect them and do the right thing. I only have a .22LR rifle, I guess it is better than nothing, I'm of limited means. Most likely, soon, I'll be driving a 26 year old car, hopefully a 1985 Cutlass Ciera would look good in camo, at least the 2.5L Iron Duke is an easier engine to fix. B-) Probably my value would be is I can fix electronics and radios, limited on cars and I'm an amateur radio operator. I guess if my State would secede on the right side or if I go to a State that does, I'd probably would be best at lending my support in the rear areas with my skills and/or radio and computer communications skills, but I want to make sure my family is taken care of first.
I often wonder where we would be today if McCain was elected? I hope we can avert a lot of this in next year's election.

(General James Mattoon Scott, where are you when we need you? We need a regime change.)
I don’t think the same solutions will work everywhere, or work evenly. I think the USA will break into regions, giving federal lip service only. The NE might remain left/socialist, etc. Sort of like my 3rd book.
