Michelle Bachmann in the primaries. What say you guys?
Myself(Vanity)

If things remain as they are in the Republican Primary field, especially if Sarah decides not to run, then Michelle seems to be a good choice for a conservative to vote for.

Nobody is perfect but she seems okay. Hermain Cain isn't too bad either. Both these people are great conservatives, its just a question of how much support they will be able to get.

I say Obama beats her by 15 points. Are we really going to be this stupid? I love what she stands for, but she cannot win the general election.

I don’t vote for strong women, because I’m a Republican. Or at least that’s what the MSM says. LOL.

She has my vote if she steps in.

The GOP establishment is going to be up to its usual tricks. I think they have their bets mainly on Romney, and in case something happens to Mittens (early setbacks and such), they might turn to Pawlenty.

Yes, Bachmann is a great conservative and should make a good candidate. At the moment, she is my choice if Palin decides not to run.

Herman Cain seems to be a really good person, but the reality is he has not even the slightest chance of winning the GOP nomination. Never elected to anything from what I recall, and one primary Senate bit that he lost to Isakson in a landslide.

Pawlenty does seem okay too, but he doesn’t have the fire and energy that Bachmann has.

Okay. Point taken. So then the question is, if not her, then who?

I agree. If Allen West would change his mind, and run...we'd have a winner.

Why do you think? I mean, I could be missing something and I've heard others suggest she'd lose badly - but I just don't see why Bachmann wouldn't make for a great candidate. She is a strong conservative, has a ton of energy, could fire up the base, is attractive, etc.

I might just be so biased because I like her message, but can you elaborate on why you think Obama would beat her by 15? Anyone in the field you think would be much better?

If the GOP pushes a Rhino like Romney or another McCain, the immediate reaction should be to declare yourself independent. If everyone did this, it would scare the crap out of the idiots in Washington. As for Bachmann, I’d love to see her run with West and see how the libs get around the racist labels. Semper Fi

Allen West is George Washington, Dwight D.Eisenhower AND Ronald Reagan all rolled up into one .... He is head and shoulders above anyone else ... beside him, they all appear mediocre ....

I don’t know who, but I think to beat Obama it means some people here are going to have to realize it’s going to be someone not as conservative as they want. They then have to ask themselves the fundamental question of whether they want Obama in office another 4 years or do they want someone that can beat him but may not be as pure as they’d like.

I think Mitch Daniels can beat Obama. I think Romney can. A few others.

Palin, no way. Bachmann...no way. Chris Christie....interesting. I’d love to see him jump in.

Huckabee, I just can’t see it. We are such an image conscious country and he doesn’t have a presidential look to him (Daniels probably doesn’t either).

I just hope I get a decent choice instead of the usual herd of RINOs.

if Sarah decides not to run

First name.

then Michelle seems to be a good choice

First name.

Hermain Cain isn't too bad either

Both names.

What seems to be the reason behind that?
