Climate change is a crock.

It is bogus and a hoax and is only being pushed to extract more taxpayer’s money down a rabbit hole and funnel it to political insiders and politically connected bigwigs.

Climate change is real, but, it’s been happening for billions of years.

Stopping climate requires God-like powers.

Yeah I have seen this BS before - they gather a bunch of brainwashed kids and run the sessions so that the outcome is as they want and then say the Youth are scared and expect a response from us and it’s for the children and so on and so forth and it’s all a bunch of horsesh#t!

“...it’s all a bunch of horsesh#t!”

Yes, even worse...it’s a bunch of bull-Obama. (much stinkier and greasy)

But that’s what we get with modern liberal-progressive “education”.

“they gather a bunch of brainwashed kids and run the sessions so that the outcome is as they want”

Exactly right.

They challenged governments to actively promote climate change issues through incorporating climate change education into both the formal and informal education system.

Hmm, I wonder how they are going to do that? I'm just envisioning a climate-change curriculum at a learning institution:

Introduction to rain-dancing. Students study the basic theory of rain-dancing, and learn such fundamentals as when the ritual should be performed, and which dance steps to incorporate to achieve a specific outcome. Lab fee: $125 for rain-dancer attire.

Comparative rain-dance studies. Students who have completed the Advanced rain-dancing techniques and Intermediate theory of rain-dance will have the opportunity to study rain-dancing techniques from a variety of cultures around the world. Strengths and weaknesses of each technique will be compared. Successful completion of this course will enable the student to invent and test the effectiveness of novel rain-dance routines.

Principles of virgin sacrifice.Virgin sacrifice has been employed effectively around the world for a variety of purposes, including calming volcanoes, reducing the frequency and severity of earthquakes, and averting hurricanes and monsoons to prevent loss of life and billions of dollars in damages. Here, the student will learn the planning essentials for carrying out a successful and effective sacrifice. The first half of the course will focus on procurement of a true virgin...

Sadly sweet old grannies, pot-addled Professors and all other types of people pleasers sit back and go “Awww aren’t the kids sweet they want to save the world!” and then have the plans of the UN thrust down their and our throats. Then they whine about the price of petrol and other commodities as if there is no link between their way of thinking and the things that happen.

The conference proposed that youths should engage in community projects aimed at reducing their vulnerability to Climate Change by researching, exchanging knowledge and experience, involving media in disseminating success and inspiring stories, organizing campaigns, actively participating in climate change events and to facilitate the analysis at the community level on vulnerability and the possible ways to mitigate it.

What a bunch of collectivist blather. This is everything under the sun EXCEPT doing anything substantive. How about getting serious and cutting the electricity and gas to your house, dumping all of your appliances and toys, stop purchasing gasoline, selling your car, forswearing all plane travel, don't work in buildings with space conditioning, cease benefitting pumped water and pumped sewage, giving up all frivolous vacations, eating locally-grown twigs and berries, and maybe even moving into a cave? Better yet, join VHEM and leave us all in peace.

They always have to have something to frighten the little children (for a “good cause” of course).

Before my time it was the Russians are coming and duck and cover.

When I was a kid it was global cooling and the next ice age with glaciers coming to crush us all.

A little later it was nuclear bombs going to wipe us all out and cause a nuclear winter.

Then it was global warming and, when it stopped warming, that turned into climate change (and change is scary).

Really, I think this climate change is getting a little long in the tooth now. Maybe next we can have a space alien invasion.

A few years ago, my daughter, a high school sophomore came home in a snit and reamed the entire family over global warming and our carbon foot print.

The next morning when she came to me and said that she was ready for me to take her to school, I told her that I had been thinking about what she had said the previous day. I had decided that taking her to school and me going to work would cause global warming and I would not be part of it.

She would have to stay home or find another way to school. She was stunned and thought I was kidding. “But Dad, I have a Bio test this morning!” “Sorry, we have to think of the planet.”

It was too late to get a ride with a friend and she had to stay home. She was livid. It was a Friday and I told her to do a some more research on global warming and we would talk about it on Sunday. Well, she did and it was amazing. She realized that her teacher had simply been lying to the class about global warming. It was a history teacher. She apologized. And wrote a report on the hoax of global warming.

On Monday, she went to school and gave the report to the teacher. Global warming did not come up again in the class.

Rather amusing when the unconscious presume to increase awareness in others.

You taught your daughter a most valuable lesson that will serve her the rest of her life: be on the lookout for snake oil salesmen, because there’s always one around.

I love the story. Reminds me of the time as freshman in college I had a prof known to be socialistic, if not communistic, who gave many reading assignments by like minded authors. On the final exam there was a question to define propaganda. My answer was what our reading assignments were all about. The prof did give me an A for the course.

International Youth Conference on Youth Awareness ...implored governments to increase awareness on climate change

The firestorm of "awareness" indoctrination hasn't had its intended effect.....

.....So they want to nag - nag - nag until people finally just give in.

They are like some people I know...
