Too many.

I'd like to believe their lives were not lost in vain.

Not to worry. The ONE is in charge.

While every soldier who died under Bush hit the NY Times, with the MSM moaning and groaning every night, this wave of deaths will not even be noticed by them.

Can you imagine if Bush was still in?

“The deadliest month ever!”

Rush could put a montage to it. Katy Couric, CNN, Wolf, one after another! I can hear them saying it now - not.

But here on FR, we count their sacrifice.

During the Bush presidency, the MSM meticulously reported every soldier’s death in Iraq; not of course as a tribute to the soldier, but as a bludgeon to attack Bush. Interesting that now we don’t hear a thing about this war in the media. I wonder why?

At the Democratic headquarters, eleven dead American Soldiers is an acceptable level of casualties if it keeps the Democrats in power.

Notice how low that number is and has been. Motorcycle accidents killed more in the same period in the USMC alone.
Our forces in Europe lost more in the same period and they are not in a combat zone.

Also notice they are including all causes of death with hostile losses to get that low number.
http://icasualties.org/Iraq/ByMonth.aspx

397 KIA in 2003,
757 KIA in 2004,
709 KIA in 2005,
746 KIA in 2006,
809 KIA in 2007,
230 KIA in 2008,
75 KIA in 2009,
22 KIA in 2010,
11 KIA in 2011 so far.

The rest is accidents that can and do happen where-ever you are.

Do you see the pattern? It is now more dangerious to be stationed in DC for a year than to do a year tour in Iraq...

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the Muslim appeasing rules of engagment Obama and our shira loving Congress and military leaders have imposed on our troops. Hope those Muslim sensitivity burkahs are not obstructing the female soldiers.
