Trump says jokes about him by Obama, Meyers were 'inappropriate'
The Hill ^ | 05/01/11 | Daniel Strauss

Real estate mogul Donald Trump called jokes made about him at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner "inappropriate in certain respects."

Speaking on Fox & Friends on the Sunday morning after the dinner, Trump responded to jokes directed at him from President Obama and comedian Seth Meyers.

"Well, I really understood what I was getting into — I didn't know that I'd be virtually the sole focus," Trump said. "I guess when you're leading in the polls that tends to happen. But I was certainly in a certain way having a good time listening."

While a fair amount of Obama's repertoire was directed at Trump, as was Meyers', there were plenty of other Republicans and Democrats who got teased. Obama also had some zingers for the rest of the likely Republican presidential field, but a lot of his jokes were directed at Trump, who is considering running for president in 2012.

Obama did make fun of Bachmann and Pawlenty too....all of his jokes were pretty lame. He needs to fire the gag writer.

He said Bachmann was born in Canada and that Pawlenty's middle name is Hosni.

What a hoot. Leno should worry about Obama coming after his job once he leaves the White House.

I’m warming up to Trump. All the people dumping on him I pretty much can’t stomach.

Was there a single joke about Obama? Every other president ive looked at including Clinton has held theirself up for ridicule in good fun. But not this ba$tard,,, for him humor is only funny if it is an attempt to ridicule others.

He’s a national embarrassment. This kind of thing is why he wasn’t invited to the royal wedding. Is there a single respectable world leader who doesn’t think he’s a joke?

A general tactic of dictators and fascist regimes....intimidation. Didn’t the Nazis have trials where they humiliated the people to intimidate others?

What’s the rush. Take the communist scumbag down a step at at time. No need to leave democrats with enough time to prepare an alternate. DEMOLISH him at the last moment.

--------------------------

I fully agree!

I AGREE WITH THAT

In the 2008 election Hillary didn't have what it takes to challenge Obama. On the Left, the fear of the old and worn 'racism' charge trumps all.

Now the increasing cost of food and fuel will energize the Tea Party and other Americans.

Bernanke said 2011 growth has slowed to less than a 2 percent in the first three months of this year. The Fed chairman said: ''most of the factors that account for the slower growth in the first quarter appear to us to be transitory.''

Right Mr. Chairman, 'transitory' in the same way the current administration is 'transitory'. The first won't end until the other ends. And I guess if we enter the worldwide socialism club, we'll never have to worry about growth again.

All I know is that if they tell us we had 1.8% growth, it really means we had no growth or negative growth.

The Fed chairman expressed some hope that the recent warning about danger to our credit rating would inspire Washington to action. Never let it be forgotten that the Administration tried to suppress that report, and never forget that absolutely none of our current problems are due to 'inaction' from Washington.

Trillions of dollars worth of unsustainable debt is signaling that more QE is inevitable regardless of the jawboning rhetoric of Ben Bernanke who up until last week refused to admit that inflation even existed. When will Bernanke admit the Fed policy is a total failure?

For the guy who cranks out new dollars on the Treasury's printing press, he spends a lot of time insisting the value of the dollar is someone else's responsibility. Can you say 'Kabuki theater?'

So the Fed's inaugural 'meet the press' moment was in fact preparing the ground for the start of QE3. Bernanke has his 'tools' you know.

It's all fiat money now, meaning that it has value only because the Fed says it does! So we have an unstable economy wobbling atop unsound money. Money that the government takes from taxpayers, or borrows with no intention of paying it back, or prints without end. The Fed will have printed about $1.8 trillion from the end of 2008 to the end of June, 2011 - partly to finance staggering federal government deficits of nearly $4.5 trillion over the three years.

So the Fed's actions are undermining the dollar precisely because that's what the White House wants

Countdown until Obama leaves Office: 629 days as of May 1, 2011.

obama
It's the gas and groceries stupid! - Bernanke says the labor market in 'a very deep black hole'

------------------------------

Welcome to the 1970s: low growth, high inflation. And the Keynesians argued this can't happen.

The whole QE2 pump-priming hasn't stimulated economic growth, but has stimulated inflation.

It's all virtual money now!

Hope and Change.... Tragic.

This is Zero's style, he attacks the Supreme Court members during a Sate of the Union, or Ryan or anyone else then when someone says anything against him he cries like a sissy and his minions call the attacker racists. I find his actions cowardly.

VERY GOOD POINT...

He’s a typical lib, they rarely if ever show any modesty. They say Trump has a huge ego? As compared to whom? Al Gore? John “Reporting for duty” Kerry? Ron Kuby? Bill Clinton? The level of arrogance and self importance of those 4 are what shrinks like to tag as “sociopathic” which is why they are liberals because they love the God-like feelings of power by increasing government as a way to rule the people llike the sociopathic freaks they are. How many of them have ever appeared on shows like Howard Stern to make fun of themselves like Trump? Zero. For them it’s only pre-scripted David Letterman/Oprah schmooze fests.

Obama’s self-deprecating humor took the form of a video making fun of his addiction to the teleprompter by saying that Boehner was going to defund it and then goes into bagging on Biden as the example of how to work without one.
Actually somewhat funny, but an old joke.

I guess the Donald is thin skinned..

I agree. All of us admired Bush when he answered these kinds of attacks in the fetal position from under the Oval Office Desk.

THAT'S how a real man responds.

“I guess the Donald is thin skinned..”

No. Donald Trump is a private citizen who was brutally attacked by an Illegitimate American president.

How would you feel if the president got himself on national TV and began to brutally attack you, Kevin Davis?

for humor to work it has to be based on truth

President Obama decided to do one of his public addresses against the backdrop of an American farm, but the ceremony couldn't get started because of all the flies buzzing around his head.

Obama demanded to know why the flies wouldn't leave, so the farmer explained to him, "Well, those are called circle flies. They always circle around the back end of horses."

Obama angrily replied, "Hey, are you saying that I'm a horse's ass?" The farmer answered, "No Sir, Mister President. I would never call someone a horse's ass. It's hard to fool them flies though."

Like that? ;0)

Having a usurper in the WH is inappropriate. Having alias names is inappropriate. Nudes of the Prez’s mom is inappropriate. Having relations with Larry Sinclair is inappropriate. Taking down the USA because you are a commie, is inappropriate.
