This morning the local news station was interviewing Kirsten Gillibrand and she concurred with the fawning anchor that the death of Bin Laden was the "defining moment" in Obama's presidency. For his next trick Obama will pull 400,000 jobs out of his scrawny ass and pee out $1 a gallon gasoline.

10. First to call increasing taxes 'Cutting spending from the Tax Code'
11. First unisex President - everyone in MSM is in bed with him.
12. First President in history to bow to foreign Head of States.
13. First President to every use 'saved or created' jobs with +9% unemp.
14. First President to blame last administration for 2+ years.
15. The first Federal Reserve press conference in history (April 27, 2011).

In reality the government lies on America's economic growth... the government lies on the jobless rate... the government lies and blames reduced government spending for the continuing depression, they lied about Libya... and are still lying about Libya... they lied about the Egyptian revolution... they lie about energy... they lie about global warming... I heard on the news and on a local talk radio show that Osama was postively identified by DNA. If he was killed less than 20 hours ago, isn’t that a little quick to positively ID someone by DNA? Also, who did the DNA sampling? The Navy Seals? Was a medical examiner or expert on hand to do the testing? From what I understand it takes at least 72 hours (3 days) to get a DNA result, and even then, the determination is “probable” of it being Osama. It would be nice to hear an expert on this area go on television to talk about this. Also, where are the pictures if any?

I am trying to figure out what is actually going on here. The Manchild does nothing that isn't in his own self interest. And Bin laden has already been buried at sea?? A 10 day dead fish doesn't smell as much as this story does. All that being said, if it is true and we (and by the pronoun ‘we’ I mean OUR Military forces, not the Manchild Obama), it is a good thing. I would just like proof and the reason behind the timing of the announcement.

It will b one of the things he is remembered for. I'm no big fan of Obama but he "did" do what we want a president to do and that is to protect American interests. Do I really know if he is dead? No, but I predict that doubters will pop up with" the photo-shoppers" stating the graphic image was doctored. We will hear reports of bin laden's double being the dead man, and so on. Now let the president do what we expect him to do and offer up policy that will bring economic strength back the US. We know he won't and the election will judge him on that above the death of bin laden.

Why was he buried at sea? Why is there no body for proof that we really got him? He was the most wanted terrorist in history. We went to war because of his crimes and when after 10 years and billions and billions of dollars and thousands of American service men killed he's just buried at sea? I'm not up to speed on all of this, I was watching a replay of the Nationals/Giants game last night and didn't listen to alot of the reporting but something stinks.

Exactly...there’s no body now, apparently, to confirm these findings by various people who can and should do just that. DNA is not conclusive nor would it be acceptable as that in the scientific community.

I have a family member who phoned this morning who is scientifically minded and he was livid...said as soon as they reported the burial at sea he knew it was all faked. On something as important as this you darn sure want a host of people confirming this.

Pictures won’t do it because they can be doctored. And if they have them they should have made them public by now and haven’t done so. That delay, if they have any, is as suspecious as Obama waiting an hour before making his statement, which was time enough to rally the students from the colleges nearby to the whitehouse.

Reporting this late in the evening....delaying his speech...and within a few hours announcing he’s been buried at sea....all very suspect indeed!

If Navy Seals report killing bin Laden, he’s dead.
The Obama may spin it all he likes, but it’s our military who found him and our elite forces who killed him. For all his “I” bluster, his only practical involvement was not canceling the “kill bin Laden” order and saying “ok” when they were ready to finish the job.
Just because the messenger claims credit doesn’t mean the core of the message is a lie.

BTW: Islamic law all but prohibits burial at sea, only allowing when there is no other viable option. “623. * If a person dies on a ship and if there is no fear of the decay of the dead body and if there is no problem in retaining it for sometime on the ship, it should be kept on it and buried in the ground after reaching the land.” Having been killed on land, there was no religious excuse to not bury him there. Being relocated to a ship, sticking the body in a cooler meant no problem waiting until return to land. The “compliance with Islamic law” couldn’t have been screwed up more without bacon.
