Things that make you wonder. What were these sudden, University Facebook flashmobs, anyway?
To: AmericanInTokyo
In fairness, I saw a number of ‘Bush-Cheney’ signs in CNN’s coverage of the White House last night and CNN’s reporter mentioned (right around 8:30pm PST) someone with a T-shirt that said, “Thank you, President Bush” on it.

Could any thinking citizen not perceive that the delay between the first announcement and the later appearance before the cameras provided just enough time for assembling the crowd and footage for the 2012 campaign video?

They think Teh Won just got himself re-elected. But with the economy, gas/food/energy prices, and unemployment still high, will voters remember in 18 months?
To: loveliberty2
Indeed, that footage will be used at the DNC 2012 National Convention. You can go to the bank with that.

No doubt there would be some genuine celebrants out in the streets but I don’t buy the 20 something flash mobs.

Is it coincidental that the foreign born, commie muslim POTUS announces the death of OBL on May 1st now making May 1st an annual day of celebration for Americans (the traditional May Day celebration day for all commies worldwide)???????
We need to get Trump looking into this..

They think Teh Won just got himself re-elected. But with the economy, gas/food/energy prices, and unemployment still high, will voters remember in 18 months? I originally thought this won him re-election but now I've changed my mind. These stories burn out, especially after 18 months.
And we do have to give credit to the CIA. From everything I've read Panneta was the one who directed this operation. Maybe he will bring dignity back to the Pentagon.

Not to mention a suitcase nuke in a major American city coming through our Southern porous border (thank you Mr. Obama), in retalation to avenge “the martyr”, or a major terrorist act against Americans oversease as payback. Then watch all the Obama signs being sheepishly taken down. Seriously, I know many were there out of sheer patriotism, but there were also those there clearly in the Astroturf category, there isnt any doubt in my mind the PR folks in the West Wing ginned this up and milked it for all it was worth. Not spontaneous enough for me. And, of course, that would be the character of an Obama and those around him at this time.

Well I would certainly expect to see some Obama signs at these reallies. Why not; he's the guy in the White House right now.
More than 50% of the voters made the mistake and voted for him so no doubt they are giving him some credit.
To his credit Obama let the machinery work to allow this to happen.
Of course we all know that GWB laid all the ground work for this day to happen.
Interesting how GITMO information was key to cracking this and Obama campaigned to get rid of GITMO!!

And say what you will about FDR's domestic policies, IMHO he was a hell of a wartime President.

The southern border was porous way before Obama. Let’s be honest here. There is plenty to blame Obama for and he should do more to seal the border, but to put the blame on him is not honest.

One of the DC local network affiliates was covering the Lafayette Park goings-on last night and interviewed a “participant” who went on and on about how this was such a triumph for Obama, how great and smart Obama is, etc. Trouble is, the “participant” is a Democratic Party flack and she gave him a free, three-minute advertisement.

The hangover is going to hit soon as unemployment, deficits, and inflation bring the kiddies all back to reality.

Since most Americans would not react that way, you can bet it was pumped by the white house email list.
