COMMENTARY: Boston Globe’s Big Secret

Commentary by Brian Wedemeyer Independent Managing Editor

(Extracts)

I was somewhat hesitant when Heather Smathers, one of our talented staff writers at The Independent, asked me if I was interested in a “big” story. But I listened as she described how she made a Freedom of Information Act request for documents in Barrack Obama Sr.’s immigration file.

Regardless if you’re employed with the New York Times or the The Arizona Independent, there is no denying that the content of these documents is newsworthy. But whose job is it to tell this story? It is a question I struggled with as I sifted through the documents while a little voice in the back of my head kept saying, keep it local.

Reluctantly, I posted the story on our web site and then watched to see what kind of reaction, if any, there would be.

Then, a day later, the Boston Globe published its story, written by reporter Sally Jacobs, which included the following:

”The INS documents, released to this reporter through a Freedom Of Information Act request in 2009 in the course of research on a biography of the elder Obama to be released in July, reveal Harvard’s crucial role in the tumultuous course of the president’s father’s life. The documents were made public Wednesday by the weekly newspaper, The Arizona Independent.”

Sally Jacobs is later identified as a member of the Globe staff and the author of “The Other Barack, The Bold and Reckless Life of President Obama’s Father,’’ to be published in July.

This revelation — that the Boston Globe had these documents since 2009 — could be the biggest story of all, and it certainly has me rethinking the role of journalism in rural America.

Boston Globe has concealed the 55-page Immigration file since early 2009, likely before Obama was sworn in as President.

On page 35, On 31 Aug 1961, Obama signs an INS document saying he's married, to "Ann S. Dunham, Honolulu, Hawaii", but the section listing children is blank. So 27 days after Barack II was born, "Dad" conveniently omits any acknowledgement of Barack II. By not listing Obama II, he denied him as his son just 27 days after Barack II's birth.

Note: Obama Sr's SS # 575-44-4342, for those researching Obama-related SSN's.

Per the 31 Aug 1961 and also the 24 July 1060 INS I-20 forms, Obama Sr was born 18 June 1934; he was already age 27 on 4 Aug 1961. As of 31 Aug 61, his citizenship was Great Britain. Several other documents also show the 18 Jun 1934 DOB, including his Alien Registration Fingerprint Charts. So in Nov 1960, when Obama was conceived, Stanley Ann was 17, and Obama Sr was 26 yrs 5 months.

There's an interesting July 17, 1964 note describing how a parent of a 27-year-old woman (apparently in Cambridge, Mass) wanted to marry Obama, and her father (in an attempt to prevent the marriage) complained to the INS that Obama had overstayed his student visa.

Although there is mention in these documents of Ann Dunham as Obama's wife, and Government and Harvard officials note a child (Barack II) living in Hawaii, no wheres does Barack Senior acknowledge Barack II as a son. In fact, On document 27, on 17 Aug 1962, Obama identifies his only child as being Roy Obama. I don't think Barack II has ever been referred to as Roy, so how does Roy fit into the puzzle? And if Barack Senior does not acknowledge Barack II as his son, this leaves open the question of whether someone else was in-fact Barack II's father. Stanley Ann Dunham could have simply named Barack Obama Sr as the father, for the birth certificate Obama released last week, thus concealing the identity of the real father.

The British Government has released records indicating that they are in possession of Barack II's half-brother George's DNA. Some enterprising investigator might wish to consider comparing George's DNA with Barack II's DNA.

The Boston Globe is a part of the New York Times organization. How many other newspapers knew about the Immigration file, but concealed it for two years? And what other documents are the Mainstream media deliberately withholding to protect Obama?

I located Roy in Obama’s Genealogy (from Wikipedia..)

Malik Obama
Barack Obama’s half-brother, also known as Abongo or Roy, born c. March, 1958,[86] son of Barack Obama, Sr. with his first wife, Kezia.[90] Malik Obama was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya.[91] He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Nairobi.[92] He met his half-brother for the first time in 1985[91] when Barack flew from Chicago to Washington, D.C. to visit him.[93] Malik and his half-brother Barack were best men at each other’s weddings.[91] Barack Obama brought his wife Michelle to Kenya three years later, and they met with Malik again while Barack was introducing Michelle to many other new relatives.[94]

Although much of the Obama family has dispersed throughout Kenya and overseas, most, including Malik Obama, still considered their rural village on the shores of Lake Victoria to be their true home, and feel that those who have left the village have become culturally “lost”.[95] A frequent visitor to the United States,[94] and consultant in Washington, D.C. for several months per year,[91] he nevertheless settled in the Obamas’ ancestral home, Nyang’oma Kogelo, a village of several hundred people that he prefers to the city for its slow pace.[91] He runs a small electronics shop a half hour drive outside of town.[91]

Let me add one other wrinkle that by itself is not a big deal. Obama Sr. is not listed as Sr., he is listed as II. The common usage of II rather than Sr. is that II is normally used when the person is named after someone and Sr. is used when the person that one is named after is the father.

That would make Barack Sr. 25 when Roy was born I believe. The same age that is on Barack Jr's BC. Interesting.

Sr. was a busy guy apparently. Seems to have gotten after it with more than one woman at around the same time.

I think it’s time to discuss Hussein’s mother, a woman who willingly decided to cast her lot with a philandering extremist piece of garbage.
Any look at hussein’s parents, family and friends dispels ANY notion that he loves this country....

He wasn't the only sexually promiscuous one. Lots of pornagraphic pictures of Stanley Ann (Junior's supposed mom) abound on the Internet. Fun family.

We all know the big-league media plays kissy-face with Obummer. (I can think of other words to describe their relationship but the kids aren’t in bed yet.)

As a lifelong reporter, I know there are many stories in the notebooks for every one that makes it into print. Reporters incessantly collect tidbits of information and little secrets about every news subject they’ve ever met.

How many other HUGE stories about Obummer have the media quashed, ignored, shredded or otherwise stuffed into the bottom desk drawer? What became of that videotape the L.A. Times had with Obummer possibly making anti-Semitic remarks? Why hasn’t the media even sniffed around the edges of the Social Security number controversy? The story about Obama Sr. is just one of possibly hundreds of big stories, most of which we’ll never learn about.

It’s disgusting. The “watchdogs” of the media are gone, and we need them.
