Here is to the ‘day’ when we shall all be reunited. Until then we continue to fight the ‘good’ fight against the evil doers here on God’s green earth.

We must “never” forget. It infuriates me that so many of the American people have, obviously, chosen to forget the horrific attack on 9/11 and pretend that the attack did not happen. An example, IMO, would be the lunacy surrounding building a mosque near Ground Zero. Who in their right mind would overlook such an outrageous insult against the American people??

I can close my eyes and still see people jumping from the WTC. How can anyone in this country ever forget? Apparently, some have.

Barbara was a truly wonderful person. We were regular email correspondents. At the time, I was living in Chappaqua, right next door to the Clintons, and I would regularly post threads on FR..”Report from Chappaqua” She enjoyed them, and Freepmailed me, and we became friends. In 2001, her latest ( and, sadly, last book) on Hillary had just come out, and we we working on trying to get her an “author’s night” at the Chappaqua Public Library in the fall..it would have been a sensation....the library board was opposed to the idea, but I was in there plugging away..Barbara was realling looking forward to it....we’d talked about finally meeting in person the next time she was going to be in NYC..and then sadly...that awful day.

Thanks Slim. It pains me to remember the old Free Republic, and how big the threads were. There was also a prominent air of respect from both of these great people. BKO especially, had many good discussions with her.

Rest in peace, now that this great evil has been removed.
