The punishment would have been different if had been a dying wish to vote for a Republican.
These universities DON’T terminate for criminal acts like these — they just consider it “crossing the line” and give them a pat on the head. It actually enhances their activist-political education cred.

And if it was a conservative professor who had done this, liberal professors on campus would make their minds full of mush students get out to march against the conservative professor. Just as this “professor” is getting his students to sign recalls to benefit his union and his political party — legal signature or not.
That he feels so comfortable doing this in class — to the point of lying about what Gov Walker has proposed and then telling them to vote using their college address vs their home address (and that many other classes will be asking them to do the same thing) — says this activity is common place on campus.
