If the Obama administration determines in the next couple of days that “the story” of Osama bin Laden’s demise is either: (1) very unpopular among the Democratic base, and/or (2) potentially subject to criminal prosecution in some international body (ICC, UN, etc.), then the “truly real facts” of the story will be that Osama bin Laden was killed sometime around 2004 and the Navy SEAL team last weekend was just sent in to recover the body and give it a proper Muslim burial.

Ordering this terrorists death was one of the most gutsy things ever done by the Obama administration. If they start waffling now, they will lose what boost they could have gained in public approval. Not very politically savvy.

However, I have put together a probable condensed time-line.
Our SEAL team went into a country that we were not at war with and attacked a civilian structure and killed multiple somebodies.
I strongly suspect that Osama was unarmed and that his women were not used as shields but simply there with him.
Were Osama ARMED the video evidence would be shown to all to mitigate the following problems that were NOT considered until later.
This is a potentially clear violation of International Law and the UN & the ICC could make a finding of a war crime against.....Obama.
Now, when has Obama or the liberal trash infesting this country every cared about the rule of law when they are in power? - Never ever.
But, the UN has started to ask questions.
I sincerely doubt that the powers that be in the Western World are fond of Obama or his henchmen anymore.
And most importantly, the foreign Media will start to make noise. - Bet on it.
This is CYA, trying to put the best spin on “plausible deniability” until they finally figure out - basically - which lie to tell.
Now, this puts it bluntly & without nuance, but that's the way this appears to my eye.
Come on, they have real time video, intel, & pictures.

Diane Feinstein’s comment about “the air temperature in the compound was hotter than expected and the helicopter was too heavy to stay aloft under that condition”, sounds totally bizarre.
If somebody knows helicopters and feels this is plausible, I’d love for them to post about it.
I wonder if the Keystone Kops occupying the WH have talked to the leader of SEAL team 6 to get the true story of what happened. It appears that the Prez is making this up as he tries to appear to be our fearless leader.

The WH can’t get it right because they didn’t have much to do with the killing of bin laden as they were kept out of the loop by the military/CIA.
