As he reviewed the options, Obama had history to consider. As some of his predecessors can attest, these are the missions that can define a presidency. .....

Horseshit. This was an operation carried out by Leon Panetta. Thank you, Leon and your team. Obamas only part in this was the overruled abort order

Obama protected Osama since 2009, and specifically at this location despite urging since 10/2010. The REAL DEAL:

As he reviewed the options, Obama had history to consider. As some of his predecessors can attest, these are the missions that can define a presidency...

If he spent two seconds thinking about the "history" than he is not a leader and is not proactive. He made this decision thinking about what it would do to him politically and not what it would do for the country. If he had only been thinking about the country, there would have been no need for agonizing reflection. And he was not agonizing over the possibility of lost American lives. Not a one of the men involved would have backed out of this opportunity because of the "danger".

He’s also hoping that this will “define” his presidency. People will later say of him, he wrecked the economy and turned the Dollar into Argentine Pesos before he turned it into Weimar Reichsmarks, and turned a survivable recession into a catastrophic depression, leaving the United States a basket case for decades to come, but—hey! He gave the kill order for UBL. Oooyeah! That was real cool. Too bad Al Qaeda blew up the Statue of Liberty later.
