I haven't read the third one yet, but it's on my list of books to gobble up as soon as I get home.
The first two were riveting.
I’m amazed by the age of the perps. Two of them look like they are in their 30’s.....
Mike Tyson was convicted of rape after admitting he was “way pissed” when an 18 year old beauty pageant contestant refused to have sex with him.
I also know some that became drug addicts and will commit any crime other addicts are likely to commit, and some who are angry and violent.
If this were simply some poor soul being picked on, rather than a possible case of vigilantism that might damage the leftist agenda of portraying government in a good light, and citizens as helpless sheep... I think the comments would be open.
I believe "Poor mentally ill man being protected by valiant DA and police" was probably the narrative here, and likely there is an up and coming nifong-esque DA involved.
Rape victims not helped by the system was not supposed to be the case.
As we have seen in the coverage of Durham N.C, what happened isn't important.
Justice isn't important.
The same government office with hide a rapist and help him get off Scott Free (Tracy Cline) or prosecute the innocent over obviously spurious charges (Mike Nifong).
When the papers shut off the debate, their narrative is in trouble.
It is all about supporting the leftist agenda of the moment - and never admitting a mistake.
When the papers close the forums my BS meter goes off. It has been a learned response.
If he is a “rapest” I hope they put him in jail.

Oklahoma City - Four people charged in Oklahoma with kidnapping a man, tattooing RAPEST on his forehead and shocking him with a stun gun before beating him unconscious have pleaded guilty to kidnapping and maiming.
Three of the defendants also pleaded guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The fourth pleaded no contest to the charge during a hearing on Tuesday.
Richard Dellert, Zachary Provence, Kimberly Kirchler Vergara and Lorena Hodges were accused of attacking 18-year-old Stetson Johnson on April 17. Police have said they were punishing Johnson after one of the women accused him of trying to have sex with her.
Dellert and Provence were sentenced to 10 years in prison and 10 years of probation, while Vergara and Hodges were given five-year prison terms and five years of probation
