They’ve got us “coming and going.”

We are trapped.
Our supply lines to Afghanistan run through Pakistan. We *must* keep Pakistan on our side for as long as we choose to remain in Afghanistan. There's no way we can keep a military force that large supplied by the air.
The payoffs will continue until we're ready to leave Afghanistan. There is no discussion past that point. It doesn't matter that Pakistan isn't our friends, or that the money we pay them gets funneled to the Taliban to kill us.
We have to keep paying, and we will. Because we're trapped.

Now, a growing chorus of lawmakers on Capitol Hill are calling for the administration to reassess the billions in aid it provides to Pakistan, given how unhelpful they say the Pakistani government was.
CUT OFF ALL FOREIGN AID!
