Hi everyone! As of a short while ago most of the EXPLICIT junk has been removed. I have been on the phone and email and web chat all day with this, and it looks like its paying off so far. Now there is just the worldly stuff about lesbo and homo stuff books keychains, body piercings, etc. you know same thing as will be on your TV set soon for all your six year olds to checkout! Great HUH? We are getting there. One down, six million more to go. At least we DON’T see two chicks licking each other in full color! I guess freedom works in many directions. But not in my house, it has a limit and its old American fashioned. Love to you all, Bugs.

Sears admits they were wrong; finally pulls website materials
AFA told the truth, despite Sears telling customers otherwise

Dear Freepers,
When AFA reported Sears was selling pornographic DVDs on its website, Sears initially told AFA supporters that it was untrue.
Finally, Sears called AFA on May 6 after AFA supporters flooded the company with calls and emails. During the call, Sears again vigorously denied they were selling pornography. However, AFA clearly showed Sears the material on their very own website!
When Sears realized they were wrong, they issued this statement to AFA:
“We sincerely apologize to any customers who were offended. Our agreements with our vendors prohibit content that is pornographic or sexually explicit in nature. We are removing these items that do not meet our guidelines. We regularly review our processes to ensure compliance by our vendors, and we encourage our customers and community to help us flag any items that they believe might violate our guidelines.”
Within the space of a half-hour, Sears removed hundreds of pornographic DVDs from its website.
Because you and thousands of others chose to get involved, Sears is no longer selling pornography.
Thank you for taking action and convincing Sears to get out of the pornography business. Together, and with God’s help, we are making a difference.

I believe it is futile to fight splintering. We don’t have a real candidate in the race so I guess they chase after today’s novelty. I was not here in ‘08. I suspect there wasn’t much interest in Fred Thompson until Tancredo, Brownback, Duncan Hunter dropped out in the fall. By then, it is usually too late as FRED found out.
As far as I am concerned, In the real world, I wish to have nothing to do with the fringie activists. Spending an entire year with the Pat Buchanan activists was nauseating. It cured me for life.

I didn’t know Sears was still around. Their presence here in their home town disappeared a long while back. I’m sure the last time I’ve been in one was back to school shopping for 4th grade or something.
On a side note I went into our local Sears store to shop for a new widescreen TV, this was yesterday, I wanted a plasma, I did NOT want 3D, the salespersons were in a funk that I decided to not embrace 3D, I do NOT like 3D, on some certain movies its good but for the most part it hurts my eyes too much.
So I will be shopping elsewhere for a regular plasma, and I may even not buy at all until the 3D push falters and stalls, blame THAT on Sony.
