It shouldn't be surprising that it comes at someone else's expense, of course.
Not to mention racist.
Wouldn’t think you’d want to get between Michelle and any type of food.
My thought is; don’t get between Barack and a Trillion $$$.
...worse yet to get between hilary and a taco...
Did you use bablefish to translate it into spanish or was the article written in spanish?
Wow. It may be true but what a thing for a husband to say about his wife in public.
Es racismo.
No, the source article is written in Spanish - I'm sure as a tongue-in-cheek tip of the hat to Cinco de Mayo from Colby Hall.
Lard is a major ingredient in Mexican food, as the Wookie’s big lard ass proves.
Ouch!
Paulycy, I don’t know what kind of casserole that is...
but that AIN’T a tamale.
never get between a Wookie and her larded up tamale’. That’s how horror movies start. (from another article, something like this, “...but she has the most toned arms...”) Hahaha.....
Such a group of Class-LESS folks like this that you cannot imagine.
The funny thing is that I was able to understand about 95% of the article as posted. (And I’m nowhere near fluent in Spanish.)
Oh boy, She’s gonna be all up in his a** and all of that when he gets home, uh huh....
Barack, there’s nothing you can do to humanize Michelle,
or yourself. But I appreciate the fact that’s you’re trying hard.
Don’t forget the many truly awful things she has said about him, too. They are a real pair.
We laugh, but zero just probably picked up 5 pts in the latino poll.
“...worse yet to get between hilary and a taco...”
OUCH!
I'm originally from Los Angeles. I've been eating tamales for over 50 years. I know what they are, I've even helped make them myself by hand on occasion. I've had them in the campos in rural central virginia.
In any tamal you have the cornmeal, you have the filling, you have the optional mole on top. This one was probably wrapped in a corn husk, cooked, taken out and cut.
Mabye not. Maybe it WAS a casserole. Same ingredients. YMMV.
My experience with Babelfish tells me that this is definitely not a Babelfish translation. It reads as an original. sd

"Everything is going wrong for me these days. I'm between Michelle Obama and a tamale!"
If I said that about my wife and ANY kind of food, I’d become fish food faster than Bin Dying.
I must say that I really feel sorry for what Barry has to deal with when he gets home - lard-assed Wookie’s don’t take too well to being made fun of, much less in public.
Didn't she say he smells? You're right.
When will the insults fly back to 0bama? I wonder how he will handle this?
Is that a chili dog, or some kind of mutant falafel?
“between Michelle and a tamale”
That’s great. I’m planning to use that as soon as an opportunity arises.
Amen to that Sister!
There was of a pic of Carter eating through the husk of one during a stop Fort Worth in the 70's.
Obama warns White House party crowd: 'You do not want to be between Michelle and a tamale'
Yeah, that was the one that immediately came to mind. But I think there have been others, too.
Hmm James Coney Island.
I can’t speak Spanish, but I read and hear it almost perfectly.
At one time, I was an engineer traveling to Queretero on a
monthly basis staying for weeks at a time. I was eating lunch at the factory cafeteria, and the locals were telling jokes about some employee, and I got it, I laughed with them and they realized, I was here for them and understood their language, even though I was lousy speaking it.
Everyone was stunned that I got it. It was a cultural moment for everyone. We don’t want to transform them, we want them to figure out their path to freedom.
The kicker was, they all wanted the same freedoms America offered. They are the young nationals supporting freedom in Mexico. I felt for them. They are fighting a HUGE battle, much worse than we are.
There is a side of Mexico people don’t know about, the patriots. Only they are a small, a tiny minority. That’s the pity, but, they’re out there, struggling to apply our freedoms to their country. They are good people. I’m glad I got to know them.
oh I agree. That was composed in Spanish.
