Actually if there was intel found, the President should have never got on TV the same night and broadcast that UBL was found and killed. I’m sure they scattered the minute they found out.

Would have been best to wait till they found out he was dead themselves, may have given Intel/CIA time to put traces and stuff on the bad guys

Zwahari isn’t stupid. He “moved” just as soon as one of his couriers brought him news of the attack and I’ll bet we hadn’t even left Pakistani airspace.

Is this really intelligence??

Hell, I could have written this up before the raid...and that's probably what they did....sat around discussing "what do we want to tell the public after the raid"...

Loose lips sink ships.

The people who are leaking this stuff should be prosecuted. I’m sure it’s classified Top Secret.

no wonder the adults waited till Zero was out on the links to start the OBL mission.

According to past threads, the OBL mission has been on the board for some time. I don't think his being on the links has anything to do with anything.

I wasn't asking about that. I was asking why intelligence about the #2 in AQ was being leaked. Why are we releasing information about current ops? Unless it's misinformation?

He’s probably got an office at the Justice Department, or at Homeland Security. Thanks UniqueViews.

By all means Obama, don’t release the picture of Osama’s dead body. Just release all the sensitive intel we got.

Maybe they shouldn’t have announced they killed him the day it happened. I’m sure all the bad guys have left their current hideouts, now.

Barack Hussein Obama gave away a unique once-in-the-war event which should have allowed an immediate decisive crippling of al-Qa'ida. Instead, much of the tactical advantage of Osama bin Ladin's death has been lost. The prey has flushed and moved to new cover. All because a weak and indecisive Obama needed to literally cry out for immediate attention and credit for the death of bin Laden.

Today, US forces missed in an attempted strike in Yemen against al-Qa'ida Anwar al-Awlaki (link). Given events of the last five days, it could not have been otherwise.

Return to the events of last Sunday. BHO took little delay in announcing the killing of OBL and flaunting the apparent treasure of computer intel from the safehouse.

Moments prior to BHO's first announcement, the early word was OBL had been killed the week prior. That one week delay made perfect tactical sense.

It's called "getting inside the timing of the enemy's decision loop". It is a widely used practice in highly competitive business environments and is a cornerstone of military strategy (link). In this situation; kill/capture OBL and gather on-site intel, exploit the prisoner/intel, and take action against al-Qa'ida - all before the enemy knows those events have occured.

Now, al-Qa'ida has moved their safe houses, changed their codes, and is making plans to counter and even take advantage of what we now know. That is the very nature of warfare.

Obama. Incompetent or Traitor?

re: Incompetent or Traitor?

Sorta like working up a ‘system’ for picking the winning lottery numbers and then hitting the jackpot. System or luck. Doesn’t matter, the results are the same.

Doesn’t matter whether he’s incompetent or a traitor, it’s the results that count and they are playing out right now time after time in plain view.

It’s an old liberal trick to be traitorous and then blame it on incompetence. They are more concerned about the furthering of their goals than they are about what the world thinks of them. That’s a huge difference between liberals and conservatives.

I think time will prove that he, or at least his handlers, are not as incompetent as they pretend to be, that they use that cover to accomplish things that are bad news for America.

I had hope that the offing had occurred a week or so prior, perhaps as many as two weeks, to the announcement. O’s narcisissism however did shorten the useful time that we had to blow up another couple of AQ leaders.

I wish we had someone better in the oval office.
