Amid bitter, recriminatory exchanges between the United States and Pakistan over the Osama bin Laden extermination, planned bilateral visits of President Asif Ali Zardari to Washington DC and a return trip of President Barack Obama to Islamabad are both in jeopardy. Ties between the two sides are expected to slide further following Pakistan's "outing" of the CIA station chief in Islamabad on Saturday.
In a sign of how bad ties are between the two countries, Pakistani media on Saturday once again publicly named the CIA station chief in Islamabad, a breach of both protocol and trust, that is bound to enrage Washington.

He was probably involved with the killing of Bin Laden. So he had his hand in killing one of the presidents fellow muslims. Thus, he is expendable. (/obama)
And just who in their right mind would trust Pakistan?
Obama willing to invade Pakistan in al-Qaeda hunt
August 2, 2007
Barack Obama, a leading Democrat candidate in the US presidential race, provoked anger yesterday by threatening to send troops into Pakistan to hunt down terrorists even without permission from that countrys Government.
Standing in front of a Stars and Stripes flag, Mr Obama said: There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again . . . If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf wont act, we will.
It’s time for the US to cut Pakistan loose.
We give them billions of dollars in aid, and what do we get in return?
They harbor our worst enemies and expose our CIA agents.
They sure are sneaky. Osama was actually living there for 7 1/2 years. All the while we were looking for him in Afghanistan!
“The disclosure that the CIA established a safehouse in Abbottabad within sighting distance of the Osama’s compound under the ISI’s nose had also rattled the military brass.
And in a further embarrassment for the ISI, it now transpires that Osama lived in village just off the town of Haripur on the Abbottabad Highway for 2-1/2 years before he moved into the new compound. That would make it at least 7-1/2 years that he lived close to urban settlements.”
Will they get away with betraying us again?
Time to cut all ties with this hell hole country.
They harbor our enemies while at the same time take our money.
On an unrelated matter, wonder how Pakistan's computer anti virus software is holding up? It would be terrible, you know, if by chance, they were hit by one of those mysterious Stuxet attacks that would cripple military installations and factories and shut down the lights at the mosques?
He also visited there. And, if I’m correct, as a Senator.
When we leave Pakistan, we should leave with their nukes and take away any further capability for them to make new ones.
Assuming Pak was complicit in the OBL raid, and I don't see a plausible way the could not have been, it's probable there is a substantial split in the Pak power structure.
The government in Pak needs to crack down hard or they are finished.
ANOTHER coup in Pakistan?
Traveled with him too.
Pakistan must believe Obama is committed to Afghanistan. That makes us dependent on Pakistan.
And the ISI probably has photos of the two together...
...we probably won't do anything about this CIA deal after all.
