Of course the anglican head is uncomfortable. He picks and chooses what parts of the bible may or may not be relevant. I’d be starting to feel a little warm if I were him.

On September 2001 President Bush said he wanted OBL “Dead or Alive”

In this case “Dead” is the best option. We sure wouldn’t want this animal Alive!

““But we don’t need to spike the football.” Screw that. We should have spiked the head or at least hung the body from a yard arm on the carrier. Maybe the SEALs could have shot a few baskets with the dead head.

Well at least this lib is consistent. Unlike the other liberal pukes who get their panties in a wad over water-boarding, but praise MaObama for ordering blowing Usama’s head off even if he was unarmed.

Just for the record, I have no problem with either.

If I had been a SEAL raiding that place I'd have assumed the entire building was wired to blow and that Bin Laden would have the detonating device on his body.

No doubt in my mind he'd be shot on sight.

This is how I see it...by death Ben-Laden cannot operate anything on this earth any longer.....A man who PROMOTED evil and destruction to many people is gone. ....

40 SEALs have died fighting the war against terrorism. A few widows and children are left behind. Osama bin Laden’s death doesn’t undo this or the attacks that have been committed during his lifetime. ............But there is pleasure in knowing that the government is following through with God’s command to bring........ “wrath on the one who practices evil” (Romans 13:4).

Some examples of:

Goliath was a tyrant who had been taunting Israel for a long time as had bin Laden been terrorizing the U.S. for about ten years. Both Goliath and bin Laden were shot in the face but with different weapons. Both bodies were immediately disposed of......David in 1 Samuel 17.

David and his mighty men are on the run from Saul when David gets word that the Philistines are plundering the people of Keilah..... God’s desire was for David to proceed onward “using violence to stop this evil”.... Ben Laden was even more evil.. .....Samuel 23:1-5.

Tthe Bible essentially says that “it”... (i.e. the authorities or government) ....”does not bear the sword for nothing” and that it is a “minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil........Romans 12:19 to Romans 13:4

This is the opening line of a song of celebration Moses and the people of Israel sang following the drowning of the Egyptian army when the Red Sea closed in on them. In the Old Testament, the song goes unchallenged by God.......

“I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; horse and rider he has thrown into the sea.” ......Ex:14:26–15:21.)

I’m also uncomfortable with this killing, although in my mind he deserved to die. I’m wondering if it’s right to instruct military personnel to kill someone - actually an assassination in this case, when it appears that it was possible to take that person into custody.

I suppose that since to was a very close range assassination that was authorized by Obama, it’s OK. But, would it have been viewed OK if Bush had done the same thing in the same way? The whole episode is troubling.

But in Fact, he WAS exceedingly HEAVILY armed.

Arms can take many forms. In OBL's case, he was armed with tens of thousands of followers, cells around the globe, that would kill at command from him.

He was the trigger to al qaida's gun barrel.

Maybe this should refresh the Archbishop of Cantabury’s memory:

“Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

Pope Benedict XVI, from the Byzantine emperor, Manuel II Paleologus, September of 2006 in Germany.

All these stories to cover up for the fact that this didn’t go as planned.

The SOF was supposed to capture Bin Laden and bring him back.

BUT... his dedicated ‘guards’ were sworn to kill OBL is he was about to be captured. So they did.

This messed up the WH/Pentagon’s plans, so they had to start making up excuses and stories to cover while they decided what best to do.

THAT is why there was a ‘blackout’ of the SOF video feed.
THAT is why there was such confusion, and multiple conflicting stories.

To think that OBL was unarmed is believing the fantasies of the Left.

Ofcourse he was armed. There are very few photos of him without his rifle. I think we should be concerned that his apparent support within the Pak Military and Government has provide nukes to terrorists. While everyone is arguing about whether OBL should have been read his rights and provided a taxpayer funded Lawyer from the Holder Justice Dept. My question IS, what about NUKES?

Dear Archbishop of Canterbury Dr. Rowan Williams,

With all due respect, you weren't there and you don't really know what happened. The final judgment is in the hand of God, not you. In the big scheme of things the SEALS may of been the hand of God...I don't know and neither do you.

Just remember one thing, When the Romans came for Jesus, Peter was armed and cut off the ear of the high priest's servant. Jesus told him to put it away...He knew there was a time and place for all battles and his was a spiritual one, not one on earth.

This is is becoming a Spiritual war and we must never show weakness to evil or it will consume us.

How 'bout we make you even MORE UNCOMFORTABLE? ...How 'bout we make you want to jump out of a 110 story burning building because you just had to make the decision that jumping out of this bldg will be a less painful death than being burnt alive?

Now, how 'bout you come back to a little thing we call REALITY and "administering justice?"

Needs to seek the face of YHvH in His Holy Word.

He needs to seek salvation by calling on His NAME.

That’s just it. Al Queda operatives have in dozens, maybe hundreds of instances demonstrated that a suicide vest or detonator would be reasonably expected on his person. I’m not sure that even bin Laden being naked would have eliminated that as a solid probability.

Regardless of whether he was armed or not, Osama was a combatant and, more than that, the kingpin of the murderous aggressors: proud, premeditated, self-proclaimed and unrepentant. For the security of society at large, justice demanded that Osama be stopped in a definitive manner before he aggressed again.

For full disclosure, let me say that I am almost invariably on the side of procedural and substantive due process, ROE’s strictly applied, and sparing even guilty lives whenever possible. I honestly think this is one example of a situation where the sparing of the guilty party’s life was not reasonably possible.

And it looks like even the Pope and thre Dalai Lama see it the same way.

I suppose he could have been armed, but we may never know.

It just seems strange. When we found Saddam in a hole, he was armed but we managed to capture him and, in theory, at least attempt to secure information from him. Why not this time - especially information about nukes and tons of other stuff?

I’m thinking that this was a missed opportunity, plus more than passingly strange that we would kill him based on what appears to be an order to do so from Obama. From what we know now, there was an opportunity to capture him and if that’s true why not?

I hear what you are saying. Can you imagine what the Lefties would have been yelling if Bush gave that order. The World Court would have brought charges. All the usual suspects would be filing cases in every court in the Country.

However, we should remember that Bubba Clinton was offered OBL on a platter by the Sudanese, and he told them to let him go.

Dead men tell no stories.
