I know we’re in agreement; I just wanted to share my response. Bless you.

We are essentially in a tangled up form of agreement. This whole thing was a mistake, and I apologize for this engagement.

This is an irreconcilable issue. There is no possible method for humans to work this out in a manner that will be considered equitable by both parties on the hard sides... Those confused in the middle areas are simply lost in the wood, ducking the rounds from both dedicated forces.

I shall now hopefully retreat from this thread with my honor... Otherwise feel free to do what Patton would have done. Grant no quarter.

I hereby grant you honorable retreat and a presumption of good will. As for tangled-up agreement, yeah, my life is full of knots, clots and messy spots: welcome to the tangle.

And good day to you!

“Do you believe in the inherent ‘goodness’ or ‘perfectibility’ of mankind.” If you hear a “yes” you are talking to a liberal

Folks, this is THE worldview-defining issue. If you believe in the inherent goodness of people, you'll see the world through that wrong lens, and come to wrong conclusions EVERY time.
You'll think that advanced, elite people should attain power and make decisions for everyone else for the "greater good". You'll be a leftist, a "liberal", a communist.

On the other hand, if you understand the truth that all humans are fallen, sinful, and self-serving, you'll see the world and the "solutions" to problems in an entirely different, and REAL, way.
