Pew had found a 9-point Osama bounce (47% to 56%) last week. Today, Pew reports, two-thirds of that bounce is already gone. Obama's approval rating is already down to just 50%.

Obama was supposed to get a Tucson bounce. It was supposed to be his “Oklahoma City” moment.
Then, the liberals thought at first that getting Bin Laden ensured Obama’s re-election, and that he would get a huge bounce from Bin Laden.
What happened?
Sounds like he is going to have to get himself on TV some more with some of those “journalists” asking him the hard questions about his 40 minutes of stress, so he can remind us that leadership is so challenging.
The idea that a single event could result in a “bounce” that lasts 2 years seems ridiculous.
Nothing unusual happened at all - the liberals that thought that were wrong yet again. They almost always are wrong about anything they “think”.
It might have lasted longer if they hadn’t looked like such incompetents with the hundreds of versions of what happened. They are in such a habit of lying that they can’t make themselves tell the truth when the truth is what will serve them best.
2.BHO proves yet again with his handling of the situation that he is more attuned/more sensitive to moslem sensibilities than American. The big to-do about OBL's moslem-appropriate burial at sea said it all : BHO cares more about moslem thoughts and feelings than about American.
3.Familiarity has bred fatigue, contempt, hatred , loathing...At least in those who never supported him to begin with, and quite a few so called "independent" voters.

But then when Obama was forced to make a decision, OBL was shot in the head and dumped into the sea.
The Left can't be happy about that and the Right recognizes the hypocrisy.
Ironically, I believe that if Obama was soaring in the polls he would have found a way not to kill OBL. With his numbers down, he had to chance killing him but the end result is no political gain.
You have to be a real crud to kill OBL and not gain from it.
Barbara Wawa was already pitying any Repub candidate unlucky enough to have to run against the newly bounce-bolstered anointed one.
Watch for “the one” to try to bag another top terrorist to achieve another bounce. The drone attack on targets in Yemen immediately on the heels of the successful Bin Laden mission IMO is indicative of that.
Barry should have gone in with the Seals (with his golfing ensemble), at least it would have justified all the patting of his own back and the “I”s and “me”s. Now he just looks like the narcissistic moron that he is. He should have thanked the military and ended it at that. No need to spike the football 25 times when he was just the peanut hawker in the stands.

So true. Obama could have killed us for 2012 by handling all of this silently and powerfully. I heard even outright liberals expressing dismay with the credit-taker in chief the day after OBL was killed. They always overplay their hand.
Obama is not popular, that’s the bottom line. He will never be a popular president the way the LSM prays for. Racism!!! /s
Michael Moore and some other radical liberal types are upset with Obama, saying we should have taken Bin Laden alive and given him a trial.
Obama does have some explaining to do to liberals. Why was he shot on sight instead of taken alive? If we are supposed to be liberal and give terrorists a trial and all that, why did Obama decide to deprive Bin Laden of his Miranda rights?????

I don’t think you’ll see anymore Al Qaeda big shots taken out until Obozo deems it politically useful to do so.
At any rate, all the big “jumps” are in polls of “adults” rather than “registered voters” or “likely voters.”
Only 50% of “adults” even bother to register to vote in America, so who cares what they think?
