Obama to visit Austin for fundraiser ( Texas )

Senators ask him to review wildfire devastation.

Obama will be in Austin on Tuesday evening.

He first visits El Paso to give a speech on immigration. He will head to Austin to attend a fundraiser for his 2012 presidential campaign.

The private event will be at the ACL LIVE! at the Moody Theater , housed in the W Hotel at 310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd.

While seeking money from people in Texas, last week the Obama Administration denied a request to declare a disaster in Texas because of the wildfires, which would make the state eligible for federal funds.

Friday, both senators from Texas asked the president to tour the state's wildfire damage while he's here.

How ironic. The Supreme Liberal visits the state capital while the conservative majority there passes LOADS of common-sense, left obliterating laws. Voter I.D., lawsuit reform (limits), Laws facilitating the 2nd Amendment, Anti-criminal invasion laws. Perfect!

Austin is Havana surrounded by America.

A Leftist redoubt in a state of patriots.

A Texas “RED” Light district.

The only place in Texas where Zero can get his butt bussed.

Austin is obnoxiously PC. This is his best venue in Texas, outside of some ethnic enclaves he would disdain.

Austin? I didn’t think there were enough Democrats left in Texas, even in Austin, to host a good kegger much less a presidential fund-raiser.

Schumer takes the Enterprise to NY, having been "stolen, stripped for parts and sunk in the river"--beware NYers if you are visiting Texas! The especially arrogant Chuckie Schumer who rubbed Texans nose in the fact NY was the biggest tourist attraction in the country.. Schumer forgot to say he was from a BROKE state which he helped create--so he steals from those that have for his own state which has not! Typical!

[In '10 he had tried to get a sports team to leave Maine and move to NY--so no friends there either].BUFFALO SABRES OWNER LARRY QUINN TO BRING AHL AFFILIATE TO ALBANY touts Schumer.

FEMA turns down devastation assistance of costs in TEXAS..

Texans should rally BIGTIME, line the streets and boo Obama's fund raising appearance by this arrogant President, if not inside, but outside!!!

I am angry and I am not even from Texas.

There are solid folks here. It is the hardworking, conservative innovators (and geography) that make Austin the best Texas city to live in. Hook ‘em Horns

They always throw in a speech somewhere about something so they can cover the cost of flying around in Air Force One and the Demmies dont have to pick up the campaign bill.

It’s all BS, It’s a campaign fund raiser and it would be cheaper if we just sent them a check covering the approx. flight time of Air Force One, and Obama stayed at home.

That’s the last thing we would want, for him to be ‘martyred’, then his face will wind up on Mount Rushmore for sure.

"...Austin is Havana surrounded by America...."

You are oh, so right.

Like the man said, "The best thing about Austin is its proximity to Texas."

And, "The only good thing to come out of Austin is I-35."

Not to ‘martyred’ only the *fear factor* of what the world is really like,he must come out of his progressive coma he’s killing to many people, jobs, economy.
The *fear factor* is when he arrives nobody moves smiles talks just the look that puts fear into a hack.
