Let's see here.
Let's suspend disbelief here,(hey Hillary can do it so can I) he spent a long time on the flight watching people get up out of their seats to go somewhere........none of them went to knock on the cockpit door to use the bathroom.
So even if he had a hard time with English language he still could observe people and see the cockpit door wasn't a bathroom door

Was he an illegal? If not, under what law are village Yemenis allowed to come live in northern California? Is there a shortage of third world muslims in California? How would the immigration service know whether or not a given Yemeni is a fundamentalist muslim?
