The discovery that poor siting of many weather stations used to monitor national temperature trends has led to inaccuracies in the recorded information, says a new study coauthored by climatologist Roger Pielke Sr., of the Cooperative Institute of Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) with colleagues from Purdue, Texas A&M, Tuskegee Institute and IntelliWeather. As summarized by Pielke:
"The interpretation of multi-decadal surface temperature trends over the United States has been found to be more complex than has been previously assumed as a result of the use of poorly sited climate reference stations in the analysis.” .........

Guess CIRES finally got around to browsing the net and looking at the numerous sites that have been documenting this for years - to include locations and pictures.
Perhaps they’ll realize that it’s we geeks out here in the real world who have the data...NOT...the laughable govt controlled MSM, PBS and BBC.
I think they have been using the data from sites that will support the bogus claims of Global Warming. The sites that are poorly sited are being used deliberately.
And this is used to determine climate changes of fractions of a degree.
Translation: they weren't warm enough.
This a NEW study? These facts have been reported for over 5 years from a lot of the non-Kool Aid drinkers.
So they are just discovering this...Pics and threads have been posted for at least 5 years.
They deliberately skewed the data to get the results that they wanted.
a.k.a. wrong.
That has been OBVIOUS for years. THE QUESTION IS W H Y ?
The answer to that question is really very simple but you have to believe that there is a conspiracy to understand the answer.
Normally when anyone says the word CONPSPIRACY, the Pavlov's dog response from every red blooded American is to think CONSPIRACY THEORY. Could there really be a conspiracy to run up the costs of things like energy? What could possibly be the reason?
While American's wonder about their latest conspiracy theory, the radicals through the EPA are installing CO2 scrubbers for that nasty CO2 pollutant and other equally idotic solutions. You'd have to be an absolute total idiot to believe that CO2 is going to do us in, but let's assume that it is going to. How is driving the price of energy for Americans through the roof going to save the planet when every other country in the world is changing nothing?
The effect on CO2 levels will be negligible but the net result will be wild wealth transfers to the third world and probably to the liberals pockets while America is driven into poverty.
Of course Americans would have to believe in a CONSPIRACY for this to be really happening. Are Americans so brainwashed (you could also describe that as terminally stupid) to see this is all about stealing money out of your pocket to give to others?
You can also easily understand why Pelosi, Reed, Obama and Al Gore think Americans are idiots. They must sit and laugh when they think how easy it is to get and keep control.
In mountainous tourism areas, submitted temperatures are often significantly lower than the real temperatures.
