I got one in a very well known and highly respected university hospital. I wasn’t even the patient! However I was there daily and for long hours when my mother had 4th stage cancer. I do have an auto immune disease so my dr said it made me susceptible. She’s the one who thinks I got it at the hospital. Took me 2 years to get rid of it. The dr even treated my nose. She said often medical caregivers harbor it in their noses.

I was just diagnosed with MRSA a few days ago. I’ve been getting the boils associated with it for years, but I just had a particularly nasty one and my doctor ran a culture. Now that we know what we’re dealing with, I hope we can get a handle on it.

I had MANY staph UTI’s from the cath. I was on antibiotics so long to no avail.

I now swear by probiotics (I got C DIFF fromm all the antibiotics) Mannose UT Vibrance-VIBRANT HEALTH.

Also: Critical Care probiotics by Renew Life. (The secret to probiotics working is the esoteric vegtable coating so the probiotics make it past the stomache acid.)

I am now a big believer in home remedies/Natural herbs.

” Got in the epidural space in my spine and got in the bone”

If you don’t mind me asking, any idea how it originated?

“I am now a big believer in home remedies/Natural herbs.”

My Dr. used colloidal silver dressings for my wrist in addition to the IVs. As a result, I did a lot of research on colloidal silver. I make my own with distilled water I make myself. Take a daily dose, plus I have found it makes the occassional wart/mole melt away in a couple of weeks. Same with foot fungus. And NO, I have not turned BLUE.

Supposedly pure garlic juice kills MRSA in wound care.

I have read in severe cases where this has helped. A family member that was a burn victim can testify.

LOL you want to shut down the information highway of the internet? People can research themselves. I can attest to studies where science and nature meet and remedies actually work.

Very scary.

I was hospitalized with MRSA in 2008 because my (former) doctor didn’t take seriously a boil I had on my hip. After not taking a long enough course of antibiotics, I ended up with an abscess in my sinuses. I felt like I was going to die.

I wonder if Canada’s nationalized healthcare enables MRSA and no infection control more?
