Why Don't We Hear About Soros' Ties to Over 30 Major News Organizations?

When liberal investor George Soros gave $1.8 million to National Public Radio , it became part of the firestorm of controversy that jeopardized NPR’s federal funding. But that gift only hints at the widespread influence the controversial billionaire has on the mainstream media. Soros, who spent $27 million trying to defeat President Bush in 2004, has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, NBC and ABC.

Prominent journalists like ABC’s Christiane Amanpour and former Washington Post editor and now Vice President Len Downie serve on boards of operations that take Soros cash. This despite the Society of Professional Journalists' ethical code stating: “avoid all conflicts real or perceived.”

This information is part of an upcoming report by the Media Research Centers Business & Media Institute which has been looking into George Soros and his influence on the media.

The investigative reporting start-up ProPublica is a prime example. ProPublica, which recently won its second Pulitzer Prize, initially was given millions of dollars from the Sandler Foundation to “strengthen the progressive infrastructure” – “progressive” being the code word for very liberal. In 2010, it also received a two-year contribution of $125,000 each year from the Open Society Foundations. In case you wonder where that money comes from, the OSF website is www.soros.org. It is a network of more than 30 international foundations, mostly funded by Soros, who has The ProPublica stories are thoroughly researched by top-notch staffers who used to work at some of the biggest news outlets in the nation. But the topics are almost laughably left-wing. The site’s proud list of “Our Investigations” includes attacks on oil companies, gas companies, the health care industry, …….

We do not hear what Soros does not want us to hear because Soros controls the media and the dumbed down self centered sheeple. Look how we let Soros get rid of Glenn Beck and we did nothing about it. Most people want a dictator and they got one in Pharaoh Barak Obama.

The liberals in the media do not talk about these conflicts of interest. It’s because they are liberal, and their goals are to advance liberalism.

To the liberal, anything done to advance the liberal cause of the day is good. If done through yellow journalism, selective outrage at what political opponents are doing, or selective reporting of issues, they will do what they can to advance the agenda. Their agendas on changing the definition of marriage, abortion, immigration, global warming, taxes, bullet trains, etc. get woven into their commentary and news stories so that the agenda is advanced.

I don't give a flip what news organizations Soros is tied to he is a criminal and manipulator and should be investigated. He's delusional in one respect, he thinks the world would be a better place if he and his friends controlled it. He has been working toward one world gov. for a long time. It would be nice if he would lose every cent he had before he croaks.

Don't forget, Soros has several Republicans in his pocket, too. McCain, Snowe, Collins and more.

Ya gotta pay attention-—Glenn Beck has been explaining all the Soros connections for quite some time now. And it’s a good thing that a few more geniuses are actually taking a look at the old geezer finally. What I want to know is who ran the $199 money order mill that allowed so much of Obamuzzie’s campaign money to be un-reported/un-source indentified? Had to be Soros related?

The MSM to talk about the fact that Soros owns large chunks of the MSM? I don’t think he’d like that.

Voter fraud is their most potent tool and Soros has mounted a campaign to assure the election of the Secretary of State in 14 key battleground states. The SoS runs the elections. If he is able to do that the Democrats will rule forever and our lives will be worthless. He has already admitted in an interview that people like us will have to be done away with.

Well, when you consider that he has most of the media behind him plus Wall Street, the unions, the Democrats, and others he could possibly pull it off. If so, we're toast.

However, he said in 2003 that he was willing to spend all his fortune to defeat George Bush in 2004, and he did spend 27 million, and he failed at that so there is hope.

Soros, or his groups, are everywhere making trouble.

“Soros Group Behind Attack on Boehner’s Catholicism

By Cliff Kincaid | May 13, 2011

snip

Letter signer Stephen F. Schneck of the Catholic University of America (CUA) is a board member of the Soros-funded Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG). Because of the significant funding the group has received from Soros, an atheist, CACG has been called a “fake Catholic” group designed to undermine official Catholic teaching on abortion and homosexuality and promote Obama Administration Big Government policies. The former CACG executive director, Alexia Kelley, now works for the Obama Administration.”
