Yes, out of existence. They’re not even keeping up with the minimum replacement rate of 2.2/couple. They’re falling under 1.6, which is approaching unrecoverable.

“Survival of the fittest” often challenges our notion of what constitutes “fit”.

“From what I see of manners, politeness, integrity, and the belief in god, both male and female, I wouldn’t marry and have children either.”

Dude, that plays right into the enemies’ hands!

I met an attractive and successful nurse practitioner in her mid 40’s. I was seeking treatment for a really bad case of poison ivy. Anyway, she told me her only regret was not having children.

My wife and I, 33 and 34, just had our first child last November. We want one more and are so happy we didn’t miss out on the experience. Children truly are a gift from God.

“I wouldn’t have kids unless I could afford to pay for private school. That ain’t cheap.”

Home school. You do give up the second full time income advantage, but you lose the second full time income expenses, too. Also, you can still work part time if you are the homeschooling parent.

Fight for a tax structure that allows mom to stay home and educate the kids herself under the direction of your own family goals.

Maybe try to assure them that their children won’t live their life as a minority beaten to death in restaurants.

There is: it’s called SPEND LESS. If it’s that important, you can make it work. Single-income homes are still possible.

Some of y’all are acting like you’re powerless against rampant Leftism.

Guilty as charged. All the good husbands I find, belong to somebody!

All the good white women are taken too. There are not too many good white women either.

I’m not going to disparage folks [too much] that “have” to have 2 incomes. I have indeed been blessed way beyond what I deserve in order to make it possible to homeschool without making a lot of sacrifices, and I’m very humbled before God for that blessing.

It makes one all the more dedicated to doing it right, according to His will.

The biggest barrier: mortgage.

If you don’t have one, you can live on a whole lot less.

Do you count yourself among the unsuitable—or are you an exception?

It’s from “Idiocracy”,

the smart people were delaying or simply not having kids,
whilst the dumb people were procreating like crazy.

“Fight for a tax structure that allows mom to stay home and educate the kids herself under the direction of your own family goals.”

A good portion of that is actually possible with laying off the idea of keeping up with the Jones family. No need for everyone to have the large majestic big screen TV, or who knows how many video game consoles, which are mostly, IMO, a little expensive for what you would have to buying them and however many games to go along with them, and so on. I do respect the single mom, or the family in crisis for whatever reason, such as a parent losing a job in this financial mess. However, I would say that for a great many people, plenty of us go after a great deal more than we need for our living and enjoyment, and could cut down a little bit on what we do have. Some of it may be the tax structure, but a great deal more is how we can conserve our resources and live with a high financial efficiency, and the example it sets for the children.

“Survival of the fittest” often challenges our notion of what constitutes “fit”.

Well from fertility rates, it sounds to me as if the immigrant populations will prove to be more fit than the native Europeans, given enough time. Yes the overall population is declining, but the immigrant populations are more fertile than the natives and will outdo them in enough time, unless the trend significantly reverses.
