Saturday night at the NRA annual meetings in Pittsburgh, The Second Amemdment Foundation hosted a Second Amendment blogger reception. One of the highlights of that event was seeing our own David Codrea, National Gun Rights Examiner, and Dave Workman, Seattle Gun Rights Examiner receive the Soldier of Fortune Freedom Award. Mike Vanderboegh, of Sipsey Street Irregulars also received the award. Sharyl Attkisson, of CBS News received the award in absentia.
The award was given by Lt. Col. Robert K. Brown, Editor and publisher of Soldier of Fortune Magazine.
The award was given because thes individuals have been tireless of their pursuit of information in the gunwalker case, which involves allegations of ATF agents facilitating sale of firearms to straw purchasers. One of these firearms was found at the scene of the murder of Border Patrol Officer Brian Terry.
For complete coverage of this debacle, check David Codrea's link here.
