Believing Sept. 11 to have been "hijacked by Republicans," President Obama had a secret plan to "flush 9/11 down the memory hole" in order to benefit Democrats, the author of a brand-new book is claiming.
According to "Subversion Inc." by investigative journalist Matthew Vadum, Obama sought to make the environment the prime concern on 9/11 instead of the worst terrorist attacks in U.S. history.
The president allegedly used his green jobs czar Van Jones and the leftist group ACORN to help orchestrate the transformation.
"The leftists at ACORN view September 11 as a 'Republican' day because it focuses the public on supposedly 'Republican' issues like patriotism, national security, and terrorism," writes Vadum, a senior editor at Capital Research Center in Washington, D.C.
"They complain that 9/11 was long ago hijacked by Republicans and their enablers and unfairly used to bludgeon helpless Democrats every election. MSNBC host Keith Olbermann summed up this ugly perspective, calling 9/11 'a brand name. A Republican campaign slogan. Propaganda of the lowest form.'"
Vadum explains that by June 2009, ACORN the acronym for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now realized how much money was to be made by jumping on the "green economy" bandwagon. But the author calls a green economy a utopian fantasy.
"The kind of economy radical environmentalists want to force on America is heavily subsidized by the government and bans oil and coal, forcing people to rely on inferior 'sustainable' energy sources," Vadum writes.

PING!
I remember reading about this years back, nice that someone’s setting it down in book form.
“Subversion Inc.” by investigative journalist Matthew Vadum....
I have a great deal of respect for Matthew Vadum....
He wrote a wonderful article in The American Spectator, alerting many to the fact that Soros was “purchasing” Secretaries of State.
My hat is off to him.
Sounds like Vadum has it about right.
Bump.
FUBO!!!
Just like tney hijacked ‘Good Friday’ for ‘Earth Day’. I told my kids who the founding (Earth Day) murderer was. They talked about it at school. Hehehehe.
Always suspected the leftest, marxist, democrat liberal was ashamed of ‘ issues like patriotism, national security, and terrorism,”
But Hey, there it is in black an white
^they^
I remember Obummer making an attempt at this when he declared 911 a day of service instead of remembrance of the event. They tried again last year but no one is buying that crap. I am sure some in the WH were less than pleased to see all the genuine celebration by the American people over killing OBL. Americans are not going to forget what that day is about for some time. Every year you can see these creeps try to dilute 911 into a non event.
Someone needs to post a vanity as to WHY the MSM (after OBL’s death) FAILED to show footage of 9/11.
Did you tell them whose 100th birthday the first Earth Day celebrated?
You betcha, babes.
Last year I noticed that the San Jose Mercury News for the first time in my memory did not feature any story on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7. I thought it odd at the time, but on reflection and after reading this article, it does tend to tie in nicely with Obama and the Democrats de-emphasizing national defense (the primary responsibility of the federal government).
The hypothesis put forward by this article also seems to dovetail with Obama being merely “present” while the strategy of capturing bin Laden was executed.
I’m all for the idea of flushing Democrats on 9/11.
Didn’t he revive the whole issue after he single-handedly killed OBL?
He’s taken it over now.
So now he has made the crappy economy he has run into the ground the first issue, instead of us killing Bin Laden. Thats pretty inept.
