Why The Left Cried When Osama Died
FrontPage Magazine ^ | Jamie Glazov

Posted on 05/13/2011 2:43:49 AM PDT by Michael van der Galien

The death of Osama bin Laden has driven a stake into the heart of the Left, causing progressives to bleed and moan as their unholy alliance with radical Islam absorbs the devastating May 2 blow.

The radical Islamic half of the romance is in agony as it sheds bitter tears for the mass murderer. Indeed, Hamas, Hezbollah, the armed wing of Fatah, and tens of thousands of radical Muslims around the world have prominently displayed their sorrow and anger for the world to see.

The alliance’s leftist half is, meanwhile, also deeply grieving. The guru of the leftist political faith, Noam Chomsky, is responsibly leading the way. Having distinguished himself, among other intriguing ways, as a Jew who has traveled to Lebanon to embrace personally the leaders of Hezbollah, whose stated top priority is to rid the world of Jews, the M.I.T. professor emeritus has not disappointed the faithful, progressive flock. Furiously responding to the assassination of the Left’s idol, Chomsky fumed in his recent article: “We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic.”

The al-Qaeda leader’s killing is an outrage, in Chomsky’s mind, because Bush’s “crimes vastly exceed bin Laden’s.” Chomsky is outraged not only that the operation was clearly “a planned assassination, multiply violating elementary norms of international law,” but also that its victim had never been legally proven to be the perpetrator of 9/11.

I have a good idea that Chomsky would not be complaining about that...

I had no idea that PRESIDENT Bush was living in a compound or that Osama was anything other than a terrorist.

If we’d been given the opportunity to shoot HItler and end WWII, Chomsky would be goose-stepping and demanding the death of Roosevelt.

I'm quite impressed that Iraq could pull this off.

What with their advanced telecommunications and Vast naval resources.

Oh, that's right, come across the Texas/Mexico border....it's a cinch.

Depends on your definition of "American", I suppose. Norm Chomsky is like Cindy Sheehan, an attention whore. I am not at all certain that the American attention whore community is saddened, they are just seizing the opportunity to get their names in the news one more time. Chomsky has been playing to empty houses for years, he craves attention.

It would take a twisted mind, but yes there are people that twisted, that they would actually hope a deadly pestilence lives on rather than afford their fellow citizens some peace.

Nothing wrong with Chomsky that a cheap rope wouldn’t cure.

As terrorists go, he’s in the top bracket.

I sure can with what they're "teaching" in colleges these days. And Chomsky's a prime example.

“We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic.”

There wouldn’t have been nearly as many people at Times Square and in front of the White House that night celebrating and chanting “USA, USA, USA!”.

That didn’t come out right...(coffee 1.0) duh...

to reiterate with a twist-

We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if US commandos landed at bin Laden’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic had GW Bush made the call.-

There wouldn’t have been nearly as many people at Times Square and in front of the White House that night celebrating and chanting “USA, USA, USA!”.

Stalin’s useful idiots have lost a hero. They are blind to the truth that their divine leader has taken away one more diversion from his reign of terror. He seeks to be their only anchor. When it is needful to his ambition the One will swallow them whole.

They're crying because they've wasted their electoral "boogieman" prematurely and for only a pathetic, temporary bump in the polls.

Watch them send divers after the body after all of this so they've got something to parade around just before the 2012 election.
