Rice is a dirt worthless VP choice. A VP needs to carry states the top of the ticket is weak in or can’t carry. Rice is worthless. She won’t attract ANY black voters because she will be branded an “uncle tom” or “oreo”. NO blacks will vote for her that wouldn’t vote for a conservative presidential nominee. Beyond that, what states would she carry? About none.
Idiotic choice. I hope the eventual nominee doesn’t make such a moronic choice.
Palin served the purpose or appeasing Conservatives on the McCain ticket. This didn’t work, because the base couldn’t stomach the joker on the top of the ticket - but Palin drew a hell of a lot of McCain voters who would have sat out otherwise. At least she served a purpose. Rice is a wretched choice for VP.
I suspect the next brand name will be "common sense conservative" and there will be a scramble at the door to see who gets to co-opt it first.
