Sunday, May 15 is the 30th annual Peace Officers Memorial Service. Law enforcement from all over the country gathered in Washington for National Police Week to honor fallen comrades-in-arms. Too bad President Obama couldnt be there. Despite being invited to speak to the widows, children and friends of the 165 officers recognized this year as killed in the line of duty, he somehow didnt think it was important to trek the two miles from the White House to the Capitol Building to participate. Perhaps its because Mr. Obama historically has had a conflicted relationship with law enforcement.

Disgraceful. I hope they remember this come election day.
bttt
Well...all of the fallen “acted stupidly” ...no doubt.
Ewwwwww.
They don’t care in Wisconsin.
And my son was on forced overtime to help guard this piece of garbage when he was in New York last week.
Hope your son remembers come election day
President Obama Thanks Officers

At a White House ceremony Thursday, Obama praised the winners of a national police association award for courage and heroism that ranged from carrying out dangerous drug stings to investigating last year’s attempted bombing of New York’s Times Square.

I think the quote was “....stupid police”. Obama said this about his fellow racist being arrested for breaking the law.
He has outstanding warrants!
He would have been there, but he didn’t get his speech on the need for law enforcement racial sensitivity finished in time.
Strange how so many regard him as some sort of god whose presence and blessing are considered desirable. Is nothing legit unless he graces it with his imperial attendance?
Disheartening that people place so much importance in government.
Thanks. For a moment there I thought I might have been seeing things that weren’t there.
Yes he did make a speech standing in front of some craven police officers, never mind O’s having common to the white house the night before.
“Hope your son remembers come election day”
Oh you bet he will.
In 2001 I traveled 3000 miles to attend the Peace Officers Memorial Service. A dear friend, a great man, and an honorable Deputy Sheriff was murdered in cold blood. Deputy Wally Davis was one of my guys.
It was tough, but meeting President Bush seemed to ease the pain, a bit. He was so very gracious and comforting.
If that had happened today, I would make the trip, but I would not want that corrupt bastard, Obama, to breath the same air. I wouldn’t hesitate to turn my back to this slime.
